Yeah, call me cynical, but I'm not going to trust a Reddit-approved sub to tell me how many of my comments are "shadowbanned". I can log out and look at how many comments are filtered and missing. It also doesn't take account of shadowbanning by powermods that control mass numbers of subs but not necessarily site shadowbanning. I can also look at the "new" asks and see it's false. There are users there that are seeing "1 of 25 comments are banned" yet it's much more than that when you look at the users history.
Can you give me an example of a comment that is filtered or missing? As so someone in the field I wouldn't be so quick to assume it's reddit deleting your comments.
Get involved how? Teachers get paid to teach. It is their job to teach, and not the parents. As long as my kid is turning in their assignments and getting good grades what other involvement is needed from me as a parent? I take them to museums and show them different cultures, teach them about history, etc. I volunteer for their school as needed. How about teachers teach the material and not inject their personal ideology into the classroom?
It sounds like "parents need to get involved" doesn't apply to you then. If you're an active parent and your kids are getting diverse perspectives then you're doing what you're supposed to as a parent.
