My first painting with the cmyk palette and first time using a painting knife. I hope you like :)

For an especially amazing showing.

Work in progress, me, acrylic on canvas. This is like my second ever attempt at a portrait so I know it’s not fantastic but I love Doja so here it is

To add up, putting a lot of effort and times into registering a domain and setting up a website especially for newbie website owners are just a waste of time.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share all of this with me. I draw a lot of inspiration from your words. Your suggestions have echoed something that I have read on one of the other comments already (a little) and I'm seeing a bit of a pattern. I do have the capacity to do some project work and you're right, that is the best way to get started. I think I will start by finding engineering private projects that I can do of my own and documenting them then seeing if I can garner interest in businesses. Thanks again.
You need to calm your expectations. Get into your career and develop your skills. This idea that we’re supposed to be living out our end game financial dreams a year into our career is, quite frankly, toxic.
You're definitely right. I think the fact that I started uni late makes it harder for me to accept. I am almost 30.
Beautiful work! I hope you frame this work and proudly display it.
It's a gift for my mother. I'm trying to convince her to frame it.
Happy cake day aswell!
Thank you 😊
Very well executed and beautifully done!
Thank you ❤️
This is amazing. I'd love to be able to paint like that. You're really talented! Loving Celeste at the moment. Stumbled across this whilst looking for info of any live dates coming up
Thank you very much. I love her music too, so unique!
Applying for these jobs first is a much better idea.
Yeah I agree with this. The issue is that my pay is industry average... So with my amount of experience in Australia, I am paid the average amount. It blows my mind that people who studied a comms degree are getting paid double what I am getting.
So, I realize I'm off in the weeds and not at all answering the question that you're actually asking, so I will do a smidge of that first: getting clients is the hardest part, and there's no magical formula. Grind. That's the only way to do it. Cold call, mailers, knock on doors, shake hands, network, ask friends, ask family, offer new customer incentives, offer to do it for free, warm call, hot call, bribes (just kidding, don't break the law), dinners, lunch seminars, etc. If you get creative and think of a method that someone isn't going to give you on here as one of the basic ones you've basically unlocked the secret to success (and I wouldn't hate if you shared).
I cannot express my appreciation for the time you have taken to write this response. I see so many very valuable points in this piece you have written and agree with you completely.
It is a cricket! Probably some kind of trig (Trigonidiidae).
Could it be Trigonidium vittaticollis?
Wings and legs look like a hopper of sorts?
Yeah, he was jumping around
Hey, great painting 😊
Hi!
Yeah I do that or find large dark areas that I need to cover and give it a first coat with that paint as it usually needs thick paint to look dark. Great work anyway, keep at it :)
I saw another painting almost exactly like this one on here somewhere not so long ago. Was it following a tutorial or something? Or am I tripping out?
Nevermind, I found it. There is another one very similar to this.

My initial intention was to have a halo but I forgot lol
