1. IMDb is an online shopping service, after all it is owned by Amazon

  2. ouch, not even a tiny bit of self awareness. he basically dismantled that entire campaign without realising it.

  3. Is this commenter some famous sexist or something? Seems like it could just be someone not steeped in the whole sexist gaming culture issue with the way people in this sub are, who just doesn't realize it is referencing something else so they are just posting the problems with it if you were to take the suggestion at face value.

  4. Getting an English degree only because you want to go law school is a pro move.  Going to law school only because you have an English degree is a dicey proposition.

  5. Philosophy majors tend to do best on the LSAT and it's an easy major to get a stellar GPA in, for those thinking of their law school chances.

  6. oh 100%. he's one of rhe biggest idiots i know, but his idiocracy has never put anyone in legitimate harm for the first 20 years of his life, and i don't see that changing anytime soon.

  7. Hey how do you know his brother doesn't secretly lead a country run by idiots

  8. I don’t think anyone is genuinely wondering what it means. They literally provide an example of two pics in the OP.

  9. You've never saved memes to show people that have celebs in them?

  10. So interesting that a range of 10° is all it needs to kill off invaders.

  11. And a range of like 10 degrees body temp can be enough to kill us too

  12. In my experience, ADHD meds tend to increase sex drive, but decrease your ability to act on that if you're a guy

  13. You mean when they commuted the sentences of hundreds of thousands of marijuana offenders and suggested that governors do the same? The vast majority of those incarcerated were at the state level and they don't have the votes to legalize it nationwide. The president is not a king.

  14. I hope someone baits me with a lifetime amount of money, I don't think I would finish the job. Just leave them enough to pay for the job at another place.

  15. This was obviously a show but in Better Call Saul a character gave their sibling $4k(?) and the way they played it off was that was the lowest amount you could give to someone who could possibly contest to stop them from being able to do that. No idea if that's real of course.

  16. In the show, agreeing not to contest was a condition of getting the money.

  17. It is not at all hard to get into MENSA, the only people who join are pretentious assholes who want to pay money to pretend they are smarter than they are. Half of my law school class could have joined MENSA using our LSAT scores if we wanted to, but as far as I know no one did. Because it is a pointless group for people who want to think they are smarter than they are.

  18. Everyone's path is different, but what worked for me is taking a year off to get my urge to go do a bunch of drugs out of my system and to figure out what I was really passionate about, start school after I had my head more cleanly on my shoulders (though I was still far from a model student when I started), and take it from there. If you do something like that it's important to not lose sight of what's important, though, so that you don't fall down a hole indefinitely.

  19. yikes, that was a real dice roll there, I’m glad things worked out for you seriously, but most people who take a year off to do a bunch of drugs are not going to end up with a law degree

  20. Going off and doing a bunch of drugs may not be the best way to go about it, but I 100% endorse gap years for people who are struggling to find their way. Spending a year learning what the real world is like after high school can teach people a lot both about themselves and the world.

  21. The intense anger by people defending this is hilarious because it just shows to everyone that you're getting defensive because you know you're wrong.

  22. People finding websites are part of it, beyond that background checks, etc. Also photos of you that others have taken, old yearbooks people upload online, etc, etc. There are a LOT of ways parts of you are online, and, again, it’s just impossible to totally detach yourself from it all.

  23. Also if the delivery person takes a picture of it on your doorstep, that delivery is complete. You ain't getting shit refunded outside of a chargeback.

  24. It's cute that you think they would need to shoot the cops as if they won't be right by their side

  25. It's so cute when you spout nonsense calculated to make people believe there's no hope and they should just surrender to the fascists.

  26. Nope, but good try. I've just actually attended counterprotests against white supremacists and am not living in a fantasy land about how the police respond.

  27. No joke, in Black Ops 3, I pushed harder for a good K/D than ever. Spent almost 1k hours getting to 4.00.

  28. On the flip side, i fought hard to get to a 5 KDR in fortnite (I know, not impressive bc bots, I'm not some hardcore gamer) and then proceeded to never play again lmao

  29. On the real though the guy kinda looks like Bradley cooper. I wonder what went wrong that he either couldn’t or has no desire to find a real girl.

  30. Those are the same criminals. Innocent people dont run from or try to fight the police.

  31. Piss off the cops by asserting your rights, "tense your arms" when the aggro cops wrongfully arrest you for it, boom, obstruction charges.

  32. Batman and Robin is the one with Arnold, right? If so, I was obsessed with that movie growing up. Funniest comic movie of all time
