This version of MM pirate swarm is so much better than what we had in the live AC MM. I’ve done a ton of it whilst listening to audio books at night to chill, it’s cool getting three idris’ for the final wave.
There's no point. This is there first iteration of MM and it's past the feedback stage. They will reasses in later patches but this is the one we'll be testing for at least the next quarter
Just the opposite currently, charging up reduces the DPS (from 2500 down to 1875) but serves as a fly swatter against small ships. The math is: 3000 damage at 50rof, versus 6000 damage with 2 sec charge up and then 50rof. In other words charging up makes it better against small ships and worse against big ships.
The best part is someone else already posted a video countering the claims they nerfed decoupled mode. I haven’t tested it myself either but this is a fitting comment here if true.
Means if the enemy and I fly the same Ship I have the same speed and he could try to disengage on me but I would have the jump on him to directly boost in his direction without consequences?
I don’t think anyone here has any illusions about the reason these railroads aren’t electrifying. They know Class Is have chosen the best business model for their bosses, the shareholders, which is to continue to generate consistent quarterly profits via methods like PSR and avoiding capital expenses unless absolutely necessary.
If you go to brios on daymar and go 55 degrees for 4km you find a derelict that spawns the kitty helmet. ALSO can go to kudre ore and go straight North for 28km and there is a derelict there that also spawns kitty helmets.
They stopped touching the current flight model a few weeks after release years ago after it didn't immediately fix their pvp "problem." They've been working on MM ever since.
I love MM. It just feels and plays better. Therefore I don't understand all the whine. We are in wave 1 PTU of a Pre-Alpha... There is enough time to fix edge cases.
Go to the local co-op between 9-11 am and ask for single farmers from the old group of guys drinking coffee, they'll give you names, location, and phone numbers. If you meet a "farmer" at a bar he's more likely to be some poser cowboy for the night...real farmers don't have money for going out.
Ah, I should check a few of those out, thank you for the info. I think I saw the SCL but I don't remember anything too bad there. That said, I don't think I remember any of it, was half listening at the time, so that doesn't help. :P
Pirates are pirates. They need to be a threat to incentivise large ships to want fighter escort to not make those classes of ships replaced with bigger more expensive ships like in eve
and what are you going to do? they are 20 km away. are you going to travel that distance in cmb speed, or switch the travel, then switch to cmb a bit before you are within their weapons range?
I gave up on this game a long time ago. I jumped back in right when the spawn disaster started, and I immediately Uninstalled. The glitchy spawns directly in front of me (or behind) was just too absurd. I almost left this sub but stuck around hoping for any hint of good news. I still don't have much hope, but I loved this game and its potential. I sincerely hope the idiots who ruined the game got fired and replaced by people who actually play games and know how to make them.
I played for a little bit. I tweaked the spawns down to where the POIs felt like the game did before, but then you never saw the puppets outside of that.
I think you have to target the Connie, then hold N or Alt-N.

I did the old PS in a Starfarer. Think I'll give my Titan a go.

Do the pilot turrets have auto-gimbal? I am assuming no.
Now we just turret mounts so we can swap the two size3s for a size 5 on each side.

Nah, modern jets have high speed with their gear down. Also, space and moons with very thin atmo.

The SCL was more about what they didn't say about MM.
It is supposed to be that way, so that the small ships have a roll and aren't simply replaced with bigger is better.

I wasn't talking about ship size. I was talking about how the number of non-PVP players vastly outweighs the pvp sweats.

Great. AMD has made a big comeback into the market. Devs in general need to build with them in mind and not just Nvidia.
