1. There’s a really good chance that he finds you more attractive than he finds himself. My wife thinks I’m more attractive than she is and I think she’s more attractive than I am. And that makes sense when you think about the fact that we’re both straight enough that we’re pretty much always going to find the opposite sex more attractive than our own gender.

  2. This is my fiance and I. He is conventionally attractive and just to rub it in, is 5 years younger than I am. It's odd to see him walk into a room and just command it with just by smiling. He has no idea. None at all. And there's me. He will tell you or anyone that I'm more attractive and look way younger than him. It's very strange.

  3. The list of czech's list of posts made me go looking for one, but it wasn't there. It's a "hair" post, I guess. From one of the justno subs a few years ago, OOP is a woman who was sitting on a couch in her in-law's home. Her MIL cut off her bun. OOP files a police report and I think OOP's family (husband/kids) cut off the MIL. Does anyone remember this one?

  4. It looks like the BoRU was deleted, but not by the mods, so it should be okay to give you these:

  5. That's it! Thanks! And that SMIL is as batshit crazy as I remember.

  6. Unabashed Chili's lover here as well. I know exactly what I'm going to get and for how much. Also, they buy the NFL ticket so I can watch out of market NFL games on any given Sunday AND get endless chips & salsa. Win-win.

  7. If Looks Could Kill was a favorite of mine as a kid. Loved the James Bond type gadgets and that car.

  8. The whole thread about The French Teacher throughout the movie was my favorite. "You are...The French Teacher." Kills me everytime. I, too, love this movie. Richard Greico absolutely peaked with this movie.

  9. Shout out to the all star cast as well. The book was written by Max Brooks, son of Mel Brooks, and for the audiobook his dad went through his Hollywood rolodex calling in old friends to do voice work.

  10. And his mother is Anne Bancroft who played Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate was the OG MILF.

  11. Yes, I have to. I've never really been very big in the chest area, but I've also never had perky boobs. Since I've had them, my boobs have always hung low in the chest and their shapes means they kind of dangle. Because of that, I've always had to wear a bra to keep them supported. I'll never need a breast reduction, but I need a bra to hold them up in my chest or else they hurt then they're bra-free.

  12. I miss Gardens of Taxco. I haven't tried the take out, but I just miss that restaurant. We uses to go all the time.

  13. And ALWAYS scratch them so their DNA will be under your fingernails.

  14. One if the saddest true crime facts I know is that they found Samantha Runion's tears on the floor and door of backseat of her abductor's car.

  15. My personal challenge is getting 90% or higher for as long as I can. The most I went was 17 days. And then I went to Disneyland for the Food & Wine festival and the combo of walking & eating messed with my numbers both high and low. Streak broken!

  16. It took a long time to trust again. I was I'm severe depression for quite a while. I started using cocaine and alcohol like my life depended on it. Then, one day, the most perfect angel crossed paths with me. She helped me get clean. She is the most supportive and loving woman I've ever encountered.

  17. That whole album is one great song after another. "One" is a true standout. So many good lines from beginning to end.

  18. If you ever want to quit again the best way is to wean yourself off. Depending on how much you drink depends on how quickly. The way I've done it is just reduce the amount you drink by one coffee cup and reduce that every week until you get to none.

  19. Back in the 90s I worked at answering service and almost every shift I was drinking a cup of coffee an hour. So I was drinking up to 8-10 cups of coffee a day. I quit to take a retail job (better hours for college courses I was taking). When I quit the job I also quit drinking coffee. For about 6 weeks afterwards I dealt with pounding headaches, insomnia, night sweats, day chills, sensitivity to light and constant nausea. It didn't occur to me until way later that I was going through caffeine withdrawal. It is no joke!

  20. i was literally about to say animals and particularly CATS!!! they know what is UP and will always be vocal/expressive of it!! they're geniuses at sussing out intentions.

  21. I knew my fiance was a keeper when he came to meet my parents (I was still living with them at the time) and my two elderly cats just adored him. They came up to him, sniffed him and then jumped next to him (they've never been lap-sitting cats). That's when I knew that he was a-okay. Cats just "know".

  22. Just watched that on YouTube last night for the first time in forever. So many good bits. "I've heard a rant like this before. ... You sound like the Morningstar!"

  23. From that scene I usually quote: All I'm saying is that someone may need a nap.

  24. I saw this in the theater when it came out, I was in college. I knew nothing about it prior to watching it, other than it was an Indy movie. Holy shit it fucked me up.

  25. Same for me for both movies. Saw both Kids and The Blair Witch Project in college. I had some idea bout Kids, but no clue about The Blair Witch Project. Both fucked me up but in different ways.

  26. I saw this movie in the theaters when it came out. It was the one movie I can remember where everyone in the movie theater walked out without saying a goddamn word. That's how much it hit all of us. It was silence walking out.

  27. i have 7 nieces and nephews. This is the kind of interjection I am constantly making. "Oh, we went to see niece's softball game, she scored but they lost 4-6, and then we went....." I totally get it!

  28. I'm going to be judgy, but I hate when men wear shoes like that with no socks. I'm look at you Tim!

  29. A few years ago, my sisters and I were talking about Costco sheet cake and about how much we loved it. My older sister just said, "Let's go get one!" No reason or occasion. We all three just really wanted Costco sheet cake (in chocolate!). So we, divvied up a whole Costco sheet cake between the three of us and had cake. Still one of my favorite memories with my sisters. Cake for reason is still cake!

  30. Pretty sure all the other channels also have them no?

  31. Yeah. KCAL and ABC7 have better car chase coverage.

  32. 3 weeks. I was 17 and I felt like I had the flu. From first noticing my symptoms (fatigue, nausea, 20lbs weight loss) to diagnosis and treatment it was 3 weeks. My mom actually took me to see my pediatrician one morning and that was that.
