Jackie was a HUGE waste. It does make your journey feel more like a journey as it has several “major” moments throughout but especially on later playthroughs it feels like he’s gone after two missions.
I just want to make him a bit taller, I’m tired of looking up at every NPC in a cutscene or when we’re talking in a car. Being able to make him beefier would also be nice for a blunt melee or shotgun build.
I hate saying it because of the parent company but World of Warcraft. I haven’t played another RPG with such a massive world and so many fully realized class fantasies. Retribution Paladins, Fire Mages, Unholy Death Knights, Assassination Rogues for example are archetypes that exist in a way in other fantasy RPGs but WoW just nails the fantasy. It just sucks it’s also an MMO and therefore mostly falls into repetitive gameplay loops at max level but hey what can you do. Delves might help fix that, at least I can gear solo.
I don’t know why but the entrance to the sparse reef gives me the worst thalassophobia. I know there are no leviathans or really anything dangerous there at all but between the rocky towers and the cloudy water it freaks me the fuck out.
Rogue levelling is pretty rough, but you’re also right about endgame. Shadowdance really ruined Outlaw for me and all the specs feel very bursty. Vanish being an offensive cooldown instead of utility also feels really gross, especially when you’re lining it up with BtE’s cooldown. That’s just my opinion though, I know lots of players really enjoy the spec and class since the rework.
I have a player who thinks disguise self is a 9th level true polymorph+ spell that literally lets them alter their entire being to be whatever they want, such as a big pile of snow, and it drives me crazy.
In my opinion it’s not that bad if you just play it for the levelling. If you’re a big ARPG fan with those expectations though then I could see that being a much bigger let down.
Bloodborne. I thought I would hate the lack of build variety and coke-addict combat speed after playing hours of DS2. Bounced off it at first but the first time I dodged under/through a beast’s swipe attack I was hooked.
The replayability feels lacklustre. The game feels far shallower (pun intended) when you finish your first playthrough and generally know where the big dangerous fish are and aren’t.
Dragonflight might be my favourite overall. It’s up there with wrath for sure and might have actually passed it if I take off my nostalgia-tinted glasses and my Lich King-tinted glasses.
I'm loving the Galactic Conquest mode on 2, I get people are upset bout online and all of the above, but honestly I only bought it so I could play offline and it's working great in that capacity for me :) maybe not $35 worth but definitely $20 lol, so I fully expect downvotes and all of the overflow from the Battlefront subs to show up here and burn me to the ground lol

I’m so excited. Whether or not I buy the new expansion hinges on delves being a new, entirely solo way to gear my character.
I don't Think we get Raid or Mystic Level Gear in Delves
They said you can get Heroic raid level gear from the upgraded delves or with the key system or whatever. So I’m hoping they follow through with that.

Honestly I was only ever going to play it offline too, so it’s working really well in that regard or is it still buggy and frustrating offline?
