Yeah that’s pretty much how I got to the “fuck this I’m getting off of these things” point with benzos. Accidentally spilled my main vial (always had two - one held the majority of what I had while other was for dosing throughout a week or so) of a liquid solution I’d made once and suddenly I go from probably 1-2 years worth of supply to a little over a week. I couldn’t really afford to resupply till payday which was over a week away. Resupply didn’t end up arriving until 4-5 days into withdrawal. It was horrible. I probably could have died. I’m sure I had at least one seizure.
