1. Ramleh - Hole in the Heart. It’s power electronics, i feel like that’s pretty self explanatory

  2. For landscape Ektar is the best. I’d recommend starting out with black and white (kantmere, fomapan etc) as it’s cheap and it’ll allow you to get to know the camera and not waste to much money when you inevitably make mistakes. Don’t be afraid to try out other films (maybe not quite slide as it’s easy to mess up). Remember to have fun.

  3. Horrorcore. We have only Dalek and Clipping. and Backxwash and basically that’s it. Such a good take on hip hop

  4. If it becomes visible on color film then it’s perfect for black and white

  5. does the flash pop up properly? It probably won’t work tho as it needs fresh batteries

  6. If that Zorki is an original you’ve struck gold. Just make sure it’s not one of those cheap german copies.

  7. So first thing you need to do is give us information. What camera? What camera? What camera? Please.

  8. Im using a not-quite-it’s-best-self Minolta XD7. It was not the last nor the second to last shot. What issue i’ve had with this camera was the focusing range was off (i adjusted the mirror in a really frugal way, i’m waiting for my second roll to see if it’s ok). Something else was a mirror lock-up issue. Turns out that when the Manual mode switch is pushed all the way the camera just kinda freaks out? I’ve got to kinda balance it just slightly for it to both register as manual and work properly.

  9. XD7 has a vertical travel shutter, so the problem is something else. Do these light leaks extend across the film edge to edge, or are they only in the image area of the negative?

  10. They go all the way across to the sprockets. And now that i look at the negative itself i noticed like a frame and then some of just pure black film

  11. I had this same issue with my XD7. The problem was that in manual mode, pushed all the way, the light meter would bug out (constant overexposure warning) and the mirror would stay up in the electronic modes. What i had to do was just ever so slightly move the mode dial a bit to the right so the manual mode would be engaged but not too far (if that makes sense). Weird quirk, freaked me tf out. If it’s not that it might be a capacitor issue

  12. Looks like you’ll only be shooting in 1/100th of a second, if at all

  13. Late to the thread but I want to echo Uboa who another user mentioned. Also worth checking out are Pharmakon, Puce Mary, The White Mare, Lana Del Rabies and Jamie Stewart of Xiu Xiu's solo work.

  14. Thanks for the recs, always welcome. I love uboa so much but i can hardly listen to her because it kinda hits too close to home lol.

  15. That’s so beautiful. Makes me wanna give whittling a go

  16. Ca sa ma faca sa ii port pe ai mei pana ajunga asa si dupa inca pe atat

  17. 18 as that is my age and we both have immaculate taste

  18. Drose - Boy Man Machine will absolutely tickle your early swans funny bone

  19. Absolutely. Sutcliffe Jugend doing noise rock is just as glorious as it sounds

  20. Not metal but it’s clearly The Smiths.

  21. I’m glad how universal this is. A lot of people enjoy the smiths but everyone is like “he is morissey, they don’t do much”
