1. This seems like a weak stat to me though, as I don't see any kind of qualifiers.

  2. I've always wanted GIJoe to partner with EA or Activision so we could have a mode in a Battlefield or COD game that's basically Joes vs. Cobra...

  3. Republicans living in the lower and middle class will still vote for them because “at least they aren’t Democrats”. They will literally vote repeatedly to worsen their own lives

  4. Anybody that doesn’t use tsa precheck at this point in time is a lost cause. It’s cheap as hell and lasts for 5 years. I’ve never spent more than 5-10 minutes getting from Uber to my gate (and I travel for all the holidays too!)

  5. I think it's got to be a combination of people who rarely travel (maybe once every few years for a wedding, funeral, etc.) and/or families (who also don't travel often - maybe once every few years for a vacation) who have more time than money.

  6. I fly pretty regularly for work and SeaTac is my most dreaded airport. My hatred for SeaTac is such that every single time I fly out of it I email them to tell them how horrible my experience was. My issue is only with TSA, the rest of the airport is whatever. The TSA are consistently severely understaffed, the employees are either on mega power trips making you remove shoes, electronics, liquids sweatshirts etc, or they have shitty equipment in the city of technology that requires us to do all of that. The employees are also mean and dead inside- which I would be too if I worked SeaTac TSA. They repeatedly scan my bags when there’s nothing prohibited inside. And they make me go to the end of the line for second and third scanning! You too can complain at SeaTac here:

  7. Skip this, just right click on the arrow button to easily select whatever tab you want.

  8. Star War Store in Portland, Oregon. I've never actually been to the store, but that guy always goes to any

  9. I was kind of let down by the WA state toy show, but I did get hooked up with a classified Eel so not a total bust

  10. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm only into 80's Joes, and there's usually ~3 vendors with a lot of that stuff, plus maybe 2-3 more with smaller selections. Classified stuff's not even on my radar though, so I have no idea what the selection is like for that.

  11. Etiquette really depends on the friend group, how you play, and the stakes. If you guys are all hardcore, cutthroat players, this is fine. But the more "friendly" the game, the more legal things become poor etiquette. Like you could do certain things in the World Cup, or Super Bowl, or NBA Finals that is perfectly acceptable, but would seem like poor etiquette in a lighthearted pick up game.

  12. I might have to go back and reread it to confirm, but I always took it as Destro removing his mask was just to show his level of commitment to the Baroness, not a reveal of who he really was.

  13. I've always liked this idea, envisioning it as a way to make it harder to make a dominate A team.

  14. That is so damn true. I've worked my ass off, but I also happened to be right place, right time, and just happen to bump into the right people to get to where I am.

  15. I still haven't watched The Deuce. Is it worth a watch?

  16. Absolutely. It definitely has that David Simon/Wire feel to it (ensemble cast, gritty, grimy, dealing with that seedy underbelly but not glamorizing it). And like with the Wire, I love how at the end of every season there's a montage featuring just about every character (even the minor ones) that answers every question you'd have about their status, and that's something The Deuce does too. Plus it's HBO so it can push a lot of boundaries that regular broadcast or cable TV can't/won't.

  17. He had a pretty great run after the All-Star break in '95, averaging 19.6 ppg and 8.6 apg over the last 36 games. Dragged that team to the playoffs.

  18. Is this the only time you see Dale without his hat and glasses? Was thinking about it last time I watched this episode

  19. Kinda interesting how they call out "of the Wu Tang Clan" for U-God (and possibly Deck). But don't do that for anybody else.

  20. At best he’s over on stocks at worst wall street bets.

  21. One of the best Wu experiences is seeing him perform this live in Connecticut (shout out to Toad's Place).

  22. What does "[...] less a percentage to the house" mean?

  23. Was lucky enough (or unlucky enough depending on how you look at it) to do make-a-wish back in '99 and my wish was to meet the Yankees.

  24. Since you're thinking about the future, just an FYI if you were going to do a 529 to save for their college, you can start that now, don't need to wait until they're actually born.
