The case is wrapped up and will likely be removed from his record, Gondrezick is saying it wasn't anything close to what was reported, and some of the initial charges were already proven to be incorrect like the strangulation (it was originally reported KPJ strangled her but that was proven false, she had neck surgery) so that gives Gondrezick claim more validity.

Nah I’m with you. Dead Don’t Die is a jam but most of their newer stuff just sounds… I don’t know, overproduced? Their last few albums have all had this indie sound that just doesn’t click with me. Generic stripped back guitar tone, too much vocal reverb. I think the songwriting itself is fine but the production is super bland. I still love the band but I can’t sit through a lot of their current songs.

The song writing has definitely dropped off. There are still elements of creative and poetic lyrics but look at 45, Burning Bright or anything on the first two albums and then compare it to Symptom or Planet Zero. The lyrics are much more simplistic. 

That’s true, but I was talking more about the overall structure and vibe of the songs rather than the lyrics. I think there’s still some good lyrical writing now and then, like for instance I really enjoy the lyrics of How Did You Love, but overall I agree.

Definitely. Even within songs you'll hear something really poetic and then something that makes you wonder if Brent borrowed some lyrics from a 13 year old.

Yeah, the 6th man needs a major overhaul. Needs to distinguish between players that succeed as a true 6th man vs the players who succeed as a next man up as a starter. Everyone says that the Creed Brothers are made for a babyface run. But right now, they are just a very in ring solid moveset. There is no character there, id think most fans couldn't tell you which one is which.

Even in ring they need some work. The have tons of talent but they're way too rehearsed and spot focused. Transitioning to heels should allow there overall ring work to grow too since they'll have to change up their style a bit.

I would honestly love to see Detroit make a big money short term deal. Despite his decline, he would still be great for the development of Cade, Duren, and Ausar. Ship Ivey off for Kispert and I think you can maximize what those three can do together and finally see from progress in Detroit.

Counterpoint: if klay were a good vet around young players wouldn’t JP, JK, and MM be in a better position? There’s been a trend with their young talent in the last few years coming out real flashy then crashing hard. We’ll see how Pod and TJD do next year but based on the others I’m not seeing much development.

I get what you're saying. My thought process is from a play style perspective, those 3 will need two great to elite shooters rounding out their starting 5. I really like Cade, Duren, and Ausar individually and I think they can work together with the right pieces. Klay's attitude might not be great for the young guys, but as offensive fit, I think he's exactly what they would need.
