1. How are the cubes doing? Did they ever leak? Asking since I’m considering getting one

  2. Still doing great! No leaks. I’m loving them!

  3. Mildew, like in a musty basement or washing machine.

  4. Imo yes (unless the species you are keeping doesn’t live with any naturally). So much healthier and natural and keeps tank maintenance easier.

  5. My Ponyo loves bringing home pinecones too!!

  6. So far he’s been in his little hiding spot only coming out to explore the surface or lay on a plant (which is incredibly funny to watch him do). His tank is live growth and I put in anubias, cryptocoryne and Java moss on a piece of wood.

  7. Sounds like a great home for him! I’m sure he will warm up soon. Some are more emotional than others and can take a little longer. Bribing them with yummy foods can help :)

  8. On the 37 gallon I’m not sure what light it is but it’s a top fin bubble wall aquarium so that’s what came with it. The 29 gallon has an aqueon clip on light, it also gets a little sunlight in the evening hours. The gravel on the 37 gallon each pebble is probably only a few millimeters with a fine sand beneath it and the 29 is a coarser sand with bio substrate under it. I haven’t given the swords any fertilizers or root tabs and I also haven’t tried any fertilizer but that’s what I’m thinking of trying.

  9. Yeah the 37 gallon may need a light upgrade. Lighting is super crucial to growing plants well.

  10. Imo bigger and easier to maintain is better. Go with the 75. I’m also partial to natural planted tanks for their beauty and ease of care. A community of fish who can live together and exhibit natural behaviors is fascinating and beautiful so I would personally go with the classic community set up.

  11. YTA You know how she feels about it so you are hiding it from her which is dishonest. If she found out she would be very upset so you’re knowingly doing something that could hurt her emotionally. She is meant to be your life partner who can trust you but you are breaking her trust.

  12. All the comments on this are so fucking gross. Why do men think that watching porn is a “right” or something they deserve to do or should do??? You can’t jerk off without porn? No one understands how destructive and harmful porn can be to EVERYONE involved. OP is obviously the asshole.

  13. Lights come with the full 125 setup. They are 24/7 finnex planted+ CRV.

  14. NO SHIPPING AVAILABLE. Must Pick up in ATL.

  15. He... free ranges? Is that a thing? You just let him go wherever?

  16. Yeah! He usually chills in the plants in the shelf above my desk waiting for bugs to pass by

  17. The mantis is looking wired. What happened to its wings?

  18. Not fully grown yet! Got her as a tiny little nymph 6 months ago and she has a few molts left before the wings come in from what I’ve read

  19. She has been adopted! But I have three beautiful boys looking for their forever homes right now. Check out the @atlantabettarescue Instagram to see who they are :)

  20. I asked a get to know you question of “What would your spice name be if you were in the Spice Girls?”

  21. I’ve got 20 chili Rasboras and 10 spotted Rasboras together. They all swim around together, no separation between the two types, they are the same size as each other.

  22. I’ve been stable on medication for two years and I’m doing better than ever. Decided to bring a baby into the world this past year and I’m now 24 weeks pregnant and loving it! Still stable despite the crazy hormones.

  23. Usually with stem plants you’ll want to separate each stem and carefully pull the bottom leaves off of the stem before planting. This is because the leaves will rot and can cause the stem to rot too.

  24. Thank you very very much! I'm definitely obsessed and it's just a small 13gal I put in my son's room haha

  25. More plants is never a bad idea if it’s in budget! Personally I pack my tanks with plants so that they stay cleaner. It’s also a good way to find out what you can take care of and like to work with!

  26. She is! The bigger and boxier she looks that means she’s closer to giving birth.

  27. Guppies and bettas aren’t a good combo. Since guppies also have bright colors and flowing fins they can stress out bettas who feel like they are defending their territory constantly. Also guppies can be fin nippers.

  28. My mantis lives on a Money Tree! They are super easy to take care of
