Yes they should contribute to society. The whole reason they are able to accumulate so much wealth is because of our hard work, us being in the military making this a safe place to do business. Absolutely they should be contributing. The American Dream is dead because of American greed. Look how small businesses and self employed people got shafted during the pandemic while people who have already more money than they could ever spend have made record gains while more Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, don't even get me started on rent/home prices. It's ridiculous that some people have wealth beyond needs or purpose.

If it's pretty hard to refuse I'd take it. You have an experience of a lifetime to work and explore in some amazing country. The winters can be brutal but not as bad as you think. If you like the outdoors you will be in heaven. Just keep in mind though you're living in the middle of the ute reservation and if you're a hunter/fisherman they just changed the rules that nonmember utes cannot hunt or fish on tribal land. Other than that I think you will enjoy the opportunity. It's a small town and the comment starting this thread was very accurate on the weather. You are not far from big cities it's just a couple of hours away from Utah/salt lake counties and you can get there during the winter just watch the road conditions and don't travel during storms. Also 6 months will fly by and if you will gain a lot of money and experience and it looks right to you there is nothing to lose!
I have a roll of trash bags in my truck and clean up trail heads when I leave. It's ridiculous how much trash I pick up. Full bag of trash nearly every time. My biggest gripe is when I see the owner picked up their dogs poop with a bag and they leave the bag and poop.... Like what on earth? Those idiots are going to ruin having dogs for the responsible owners.
This post has helped me a ton. I'm currently at day 89 and I'm really struggling with the temptations right now. Like overwhelming. If this is the last push I need to get my creativity back and figure out my life. It's making sense why I've been struggling with it so much this week. This gives me hope I'm almost over the hump and will be able to hit my stride with clarity!
I'm struggling right now too. A lot of my plans are on hold because of the weather and I've been feeling incredibly lonely the past week. My old injuries are flaring up and I'm not able to use my healthy outlets that distract me from my cravings. I haven't wanted to smoke this bad since I've quit this year. I almost drove to another state to get weed today but have restrained myself. I keep trying to remind myself I don't need it and why I quit. But it's been very difficult to stay strong. It's really underlying issues pushing me to cave in right now and I'm trying to find the answers.
