When this happened for me it was the Ethernet controller driver. I can’t remember if I updated or rolled back the driver but that was the issue

My bro has the Alienware. It looks great. I game on an lg oled C9 and the one noticeable difference for me is that in a lit room, the QD-OLED colours pop much more but the blacks are not nearly as inky as my WOLED. There’s actually a weird grey/reddish tone to the black. In a dark room though the Alienware looks better and perfectly black. The wider aspect ratio in my opinion makes for a nicer gaming experience

If you like the feel of Xbox use that without question. If you prefer PlayStation use ps5. Ps5 has good wireless support through ds4 and also has full support with haptics and feedback on Sony games like Spider-Man through a wired connection

The Xbox is much better for 480p output than the PS2, unfortunately the PS2 is better with SD televisions than it is HD as it doesn't have the performance to run most games at higher resolutions well. An important thing to remember as well is that RF, Composite, and S-Video are incapable of anything higher than 240p/480i. Also make sure that for the consoles you do have component/RGB connections for that they are capable of those higher resolutions and set to them correctly.
Gold information thank you very much. I do have a component lead for my ps3 standing by for when I get the console back from my brother. So I assume that even though I have the ps2 connected via component, 4080i is the best I can do?
The PS2 has limited 480p and very limited 1080i support but the console struggles with it and performance is generally poor, 480i is definitely what it was made for.
Got it. It seems it’s white objects causing problems. I played a darker game with a dark sky box and there was no flicker which is something I guess
We should do what they do in Kyoto, and have big glass boxes for the smokers to smoke in, and not allow it on the street

1991-92 Upper Deck is a great junk wax set to go after. Sharp photography and some holograms that are very condition sensitive. A lot of HOF in there and I think 5+ base Jordan cards + 2 holograms. Fun rip and very affordable. High number boxes also give you the long shot chance for Jerry West autos (and you can build the Heroes set). I have ripped 6+ boxes the past few years for nostalgia and they deliver every time.
I’ve also never encountered any bricking on this series. The come out of the packets looking immaculate
