1. Oh wow! Do you have versions of these photos that I could use as my phone background? Thanks :)

  2. The OA is the best example of this for me (even better than severance) and it is an absolutely amazing show…

  3. I loved the OA. It stirred up some feelings in me that other shows have never done before. I was gutted it was cancelled. I absolutely love all of Brit Marlings work

  4. Came here to say this. When I watched it I actually thought, hey this show is built a lot like Severance. Completely different genre though.

  5. I thought outer range was cancelled but you're right! Season 2 premiers on 16 May! Woohoo

  6. I think a lot of modern audiences have a bit of arsehole fatigue.

  7. I've resorted to watching reaction videos to each episode on YouTube to get a fix

  8. This is such a vibe. Thanks for the suggestion, I'm off to do the same lol. I just finished my second rewatch, and want to hold off a third rewatch until the season 2 date is confirmed

  9. I too would miss the office if I had; my own personal office with a door, my own park to put my AMG, lunches made by the chef every day and my own lounge where only big shot partners like myself could go.

  10. She actually has a normal desk like the rest of us, no office, in the back corner of the middle levels. Noone in the minters c suite has an office . She has no view, my desk is way better in terms of socialising/vibes. There's no lounge either.. definitely no door lol

  11. I was on 225mg for about 5 years. Been slowly tampering over the past 6 months. I followed a suggestion someone put of taking my smallest dosage and breaking the capsule apart and decreasing the amount of beads I took and I tapered that further.

  12. Nice one!! I've also been on 225mg for 5 plus years. A month ago I reduced my dosage by one bead (12.5mg) and today I've taken two out (25mg). Is that roughly how you tapered down? My 150mg capsules are 12 x 12.5mg and my 75mg are 12 x 6.25mg.

  13. Me too, but I'd like to do them crewed or at least two handed first, before attempting solo. But I feel like you have to be a special kind of crazy to do 2 circumnavigations lol

  14. But that's not particularly broad. It's a chemical extracted from an animal, how much more natural can it get? The fact that it tastes like vanilla and is used as such doesn't change that.

  15. OK are we downplaying the fact that it comes from beaver glands though 😂 also how the heck does it get ethically harvested from beavers?!?

  16. Our 2nd last of the season here in Aus

  17. Debutant balls were/are a part of the "lost cause" type Southern culture that romanticizes the pre-Civil War period. Racists like to portray it as some sort of more civilized era, when in reality plantation owners were all violent savages who went into massive debt to throw wild parties.

  18. Is dog whistle a metaphor for something here? I've never heard that expression before!

  19. Not sure how old the term is, but it's been used a lot in the last 5-10 years when discussing alt right content online. The original definition of a dogwhistle is a real-life whistle that produces a tone that dogs can hear but is too high-pitched for human ears. But it's now widely used a metaphor for language that can pass as non-racist to people who aren't in the know but signals solidarity to fellow racists. The racists would be the dogs, hearing something that no one else can.

  20. Boat deliveries, hands down the best job I've ever had, learning new boats and ports all the time. Met some good people as well as the odd not so good person.

  21. I was going to say deliveries too. I have so many friends who just sail up and down the east coast for work and I'm so ready to quit being a lawyer to join them 🥲 I just wanna get paid to sail offshore

  22. I quit my corporate job to become a dog groomer. I had thought about working with animals as a semi-retirement dream but when I was ready to quit another miserable job I thought why would I wait another 20 years to do what I really want to do?

  23. One time I saw a pigeon set itself on fire in Chicago

  24. What was your taper journey like? Do you think your symptoms came from tapering off too quickly? I hope you're doing better ❤️

  25. Yellowjackets is SO GOOD. I can’t wait for the next season. All the actors are amazing but Melanie Lynskey is particularly fantastic and so is Christina Ricci.

  26. I live near a major airport, and have seen it fairly often.

  27. Took my ex sailing on a short offshore race out of Sydney heads on a J130 because he was going to help with a 600nm delivery in a few weeks time. He said he'd been sailing before. Turns out that sail was a booze cruise on a cat.

  28. If anyone also has recommendations for low wrinkle work tops and blouses, not long sleeved, please let me know 😅

  29. Only due to the apocalypse scenario in OP's prompt. Normally would try an SSRI first. But SNRIs are a common next step if SSRIs fail. So if I picked Lexapro and it fails, I'd regret not having an SNRI available. Plus, they have some potential applications in pain management.

  30. NAD but I have thought about this situation extensively, lol and what would happen if I were to lose access to my 225mg venlafaxine in an apocalypse. I have despaired over the fact that by day 3, I will have little chance of survival because the withdrawals would leave me incapacitated. By end of week I'm definitely dead. Wouldn't be able to walk, feed or defend myself. I have no idea what you guys would prescribe but I'd choose a medication to help the millions of people facing sudden withdrawals from their SSRIs/SNRIs 🤷🏼‍♀️

  31. I've seen the same, but only on catmarans.

  32. Does this mean when you're going downwind, the whole set up rotates so the fore and aft boom are perpendicular to the boat? It looks like you can't trim the main without obv trimming the jib

  33. I don’t remember details but there is something about the kids having a wildly early bedtime. Because they all share a space it’s like 7 or 8 pm and they all have to go to bed (even the older ones) and stay back there in their “room” so that the parents can have alone time. And probably traumatize their kids by having sex with paper thin walls. Then the kids have to stay in there until morning.

  34. Can you link the post / reddit thread here? I just went thru the Copelands Instagram another redditor posted above, and I'm devastated for that family. And now I'm horried of the prospect that mother bus locks her children in the van???

  35. It provides the context that she may have had the resources to speak out while not having to consider factors like keeping a roof over her head. And absolutely good on her regardless- without people like her speaking out, there will be women forced to continue working under the kind of conditions described because they aren’t in a financial situation that will allow them to burn bridges within the profession.

  36. Which makes it more important that Stef is speaking out. She's fighting on behalf of all women

  37. Derecha is right, derecho is straight. Context matters bc they can have a bit of overlap. One of the more confusing overlaps in spanish!

  38. He intentionally killed her full stop. There was no accident preceding her murder. He didnt hit her with his car and finish her off cos thats not murder, there would be a different charge if that occurred.

  39. Omg stop. Unless you're a criminal lawyer please stop. I see you responding here and I'm tired enough to be bothered by it. You're also just copying this stuff from shitty criminal law firm pages on Google. Depending on the evidence, finishing her off with a car can be murder. There are so many more freaking nuances than you even know. Your heart is in the right place but pls stop

  40. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh you stop, watching heaps of true crime and posting in reddit crime subs doesnt make you an authority. Im just stating the law as defined , bubs. If it bothers you step away for a bit. This is Reddit. Its for discussing things.

  41. That's not how the law is defined!! Victorian criminal law is not codified so it literally cannot be defined 😫 girl I've been practising for nearly 10 years

  42. I have so many questions?! No one on the water polo team noticed she was pregnant, she’s in a swimsuit. It’s so bizarre. I think the above commenter was right, some kind of collective blindness.

  43. We had one of those but too many people nearly got run over racing around the city, in hindsight I should have taken one for team imagine the pay out would have been decent.

  44. I volunteer as tribute. Lord knows I need a payout and a break
