I rewatched it on YT after to make sure I wasn't being a dick but that sequence REALLY is edited and acted in an absurd and goofy way. Someone even did an edit with the Curb credits after and it's fantastic.

Remember seeing the video where Mr. Fifield said some players may feel like they’re just going against the final boss of the game with this match making. LOL. Who TF thinks like that? Who goes in saying I can’t wait to try my luck against a premade group of players where even 1 of them has more hours and kills than my whole team.
How do they not see that brick wall frustration leads to a quicker "fuck this" than possibly anything else? I've had four friends total buy this game and give up after a month, give or take, because MMR makes no sense for them.
The core game is as fucking good as it always has been. But I do have an issue with the recent emphasis on status effect ammo on nearly everything, Fanning and Levering on many hunters and the introduction of even more high ROF weapons. It feels like balancing has gone completely off a cliff and they throw things out to appease the need for "new stuff" first and foremost. Like everything having DumDum now. Why would you put that on the Cen...? Did they remember Springfield DumDum existed in a very specific pocket when they made that choice?
I know this is Nitpick Central but the font has always bugged me hard lol. It looks like some placeholder Times New Roman shit in a game that places tons of emphasis on atmosphere and aesthetics. It's somehow funny to me regularly.
So I've beaten the demo several times on Normal, tried my hand at the Boss Challenge mode and practicdd several of the more complex moves in Training Mode. I'm a person who loves Ninja Gaiden Black, Nioh, DMC3, all kinds of games like that.
