1. I find myself complaining alot about the weather in the last year or so. I never used to be like that. I'm saying more things to people like there's a grand stretch in the evenings or it's nice and mild this morning. Around December/January I had my colleagues heads melted as I was constantly moaning about the cold wet mornings when I'd go into work. I'm 34 btw. Pure oul fella thing to be giving out about the weather....

  2. Yo. Counsellor in a rehab here. That's more coffee than is healthy. I'm a big coffee drinker myself but generally speaking more than 3 to 5 cups a day is bad for you and may lead to other issues like increased anxiety and heart issues. From memory 3 cups is probably the sweet spot as this allows you to increase and decrease slightly if you choose. We often have people in rehab who stop using their drug of choice but then go hard on coffee. If someone is hitting 10 cups plus we would be intervening to address this. Doesn't mean you have to stop but reducing your use to something healthier is a good idea

  3. From my perspective, thats crazy to think, and a real eye opener! Thanks for sharing your insight. Reading stuff like this really hits home on the power of caffeine! Someone else in this post asked If take pain reliever meds such as paracetamol for the caffeine kick because I love coffee and dark chocolate... I'm going to cut down and make an appointment with my GP for bloodwork...

  4. Some paracetamol brands contain caffeine as it can help relieve pain more efficiently. I’m curious to see if OP finds those brands more effective than non-caffeine tablets (either through placebo effect or because of his caffeine consumption). OP craving dark chocolate could be another sign of his “addiction”, so I wonder if there’s other signs

  5. I very rarely take any kind of pain relief medication. Tbh, I never knew there was caffeine in dark chocolate. I just love a good bar of chocolate as much as any person would but I do see where you are coming from with this. Interesting theory.

  6. I never buy a new jersey. I usually buy the old classic ones online. Replicas but cheaper and look better than the modern authentic ones. Might put on my USA 94 white and green OPEL one for the match tomorrow night.

  7. Tandoori chicken masala (medium heat) pilau rice, peshwari naan and a poppadom with mint and mango chutney.

  8. I'm currently playing The Messenger now. It's great!

  9. I've an 8 month old. My wife breastfeeds him but he's now moved onto both breast and formula in the last 3 months (breast mainly to get him to sleep at night and when he wakes up during the night for a feed) but he has his formula bottles + some solids/purees during the day. In the early weeks of him being born, my wife was feeding him in public and she did get people staring etc which made her abit nervous. There was one particular time in a Costa coffee shop, we were sitting over in the corner and my wife discreetly latched my son on to be fed and I'm not joking or exaggerating, the whole coffee shop was looking over at us. This was an upsetting experience for her and I was getting agitated because I could feel the eyes on us.

  10. I started with Blasphemous. Completed that (amazing game) now I'm playing Blasphemous 2.

  11. Hi OP, I had this problem when I was a teenager. The condition is called Phimosis.

  12. Yes you should absolutely buy it! I've been gaming since the 90's and I've completed 100's of games over the years and I can honestly say, Blasphemous is one of my all time favourite games. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and I'm now playing B2. Can't get enough of it...

  13. Man United and Blackburn Rovers. United were always my main team but I've an family that lives in Blackburn. I used to go over with my dad to visit and we would go to Ewood park with my uncle and cousin. This was back when they had the likes of Duffer and Robbie Savage. Don't support any team in LOI

  14. Needs a stint on the bench. In fairness, he's played 99% of the matches since he signed. I'd like to see him rotated with Mount when he gets back to full fitness. I love Bruno but this season he looks off it. Not sure if the armband is having a mental effect on him too. A great player when on form but I never thought he was captain material.

  15. Myself and the Wife + our 8 month old son. Groceries are in around €150 a week.

  16. It will be 6 years in March since I last used coke. The stuff almost completely destroyed my life! Im 34 now and was a heavy user back in my twenties. When I say heavy, I mean heavy!

  17. I'm great! Watching cartoons and playing peek a boo with my 8 month old son.

  18. Met Danny O Reilly from the Coronas in Kehoes pub in Dublin a few years back. I was with my wife and she noticed him. Being a Coronas fan, I approached him while he was standing at the bar with a couple of other guys. He was extremely sound and gave me his time. We chatted about music and whiskey for a few minutes and his mate took a couple of photos. I was delighted...

  19. Went to my parents house for the Holy Grail of Sunday roasts today at 3pm. Came home later at 8pm and had a toasted cheese sandwich with a few crisps on the side...

  20. Controlling Premier League games at 18 is not something that you see every day. This kid is special!

  21. Look into into getting an apprenticeship in a trade. 20 is a good age and the likes of plumbers, sparks painters etc are all in high demand and pay well. Plus you could take your trade abroad when your qualified.

  22. Make an appointment with your GP and get a letter stating all this and that you need immediate resignation. You'll be grand! They can't do anything once a doctors letter is produced. Hope you feel better soon.

  23. Cinemas and Arcades in the 90s. What a time to be alive.
