There are engines that are more reliable or better sounding or make more power or are more efficient or more technologically advanced than the LS family, but there are none that do them all combined like the LS. I don't think there is another engine out there like the LS3 that is compact, makes 430hp, reliable, good sounding, and can make 30 MPG. It is the litmus test of engines.
Single mass clutches only rattle when in neutral. So if you pull up to a light or stop sign normally and depress the clutch and hold it depressed until you accelerate again you won't hear the rattle. If you put the gearbox in neutral and let out the clutch you will hear the rocks in a tin can sound.
Carolina clutch sells a kit that is supposed to help mitigate the rattling. I wouldn't buy one of their clutches again though. It worked great, it was just very expensive and didn't last very long.
I think I got somewhere around 30k miles out of it. I don't think that is too bad for a stage 2 clutch and lightweight flywheel when using it for daily commuting. There was nothing else on the market at the time so I had no other choice.
Ford did this with the GT. They claim that they tried to only sell the car to people who would go out and show off the car. GM said that they would remove the warranty from Z06's that were flipped. Ferrari does it differently where they have their own hierarchical list of people who can buy the new cars and you can move up the list by buying old Ferrari and less desirable new Ferraris. If you sell to flip one they just take away your ability to buy new Ferraris.

They didn't. There were only ever 3 wheel options for the C5. These are a C6 factory wheel option.

Or try to go into reverse in a manual C4.
IAC valve, MAP sensor, or unplugged vacuum line could all be causing that. You can also adjust the idle on the throttle body.

It could possibly be the ambient air temperature sensor. That is the only plug I am aware of that is in front of the radiator.
