Throwback to the Guitar Hero II days! I had been enjoying most of the songs up till the point I got to Beast and Harlot. The End of Heartache (both the song and album) got me into metalcore. That album was released a month before I graduated from high school, I was mostly into hard rock, grunge, and nu metal before then.
This is what happens when most of your first several records go really fucking hard. You could drop a genuinely great record later on but people have already solidified your other material as "the pinnacle" and it's going to be difficult to change the perception later on.
Sanitation workers, plumbers, electricians, nurses, teachers, farm workers, counselors, artists, day care workers, community organizers, etc. I think meaningful careers are ones in which you directly contribute towards the health and happiness of your community. Careers that I don’t view as meaningful are things like investment banking, consulting, lobbying, sales, etc.

Fuck them for telling me to look happier when they only gave me a fucking 4% raise. You wanna make me happy and get me to look happy?
