it does take a few days to open, and unless it’s dying back I wouldn’t worry about it too much, they’re pretty damn hard to kill. in my experience they like a little bit of flow and whatever light you can give them. just remember that every time you move or bump it, it’s gonna stay closed for a little bit.

Oh they’re awesome corals! But I’d definitely isolate it to a rock as big as you’d like it to get cause it’ll grow as far as it can reach. That’s why I just have it to the side on that one rock.
