1. Is it possible for you to scan and upload it for those of us who can't afford it 😅

  2. Completely understandable. I'm not able to afford it currently (it's about 20k rupees in my country), will save up and try to buy it.

  3. Thanks for understanding, if you have any specific questions Id be happy to tell you what the book says when I have some time to look!

  4. It's still possible, but you would need the model to stay still and you would need something longer like 30 seconds. Then you would hold for 5 seconds, move to next next point, wait 5 seconds, move to the next point, another 5 seconds and so on. You would still get some motion blur, but it would be that obvious since the points where you held it still would outweigh the motion blur.

  5. With all due respect, the correct way to achieve this effect is with optics, but I see what you mean.

  6. That is the correct way to do it with a prism, but i'm just saying it could be possible in one shot. Heck, it would be easy to do in photoshop with one shot and just duplicating layers.

  7. Yeah youre totally right, I wonder what a comparison would look like

  8. This. Had somebody claim the same shit without even adding a picture. eBay sided with them for a return. Got an empty box back and had to fight to get my money back.

  9. One time this guy bought a fully functioning, mint camera from me, claimed it was destroyed and full of fungus, so I offer a return and an apology because I knew it could easily sell to someone who wasn’t a con artist.

  10. Still need help? What password?

  11. Ill help. Make your pw Sunlight. Ill head over now and place my sign down. My name is “Yeah”

  12. You can’t do this with just a macro lens. This looks to be more than a 2x magnification. And at that level to improve the depth of field you will need a lot of light. I have a 1x macro and even with that, to get reasonable DOF I need to shoot at f12-f16. Where I mostly get by with very direct sunlight.

  13. This looks like it was shot in a studio, in which case I doubt a lack of light was of any concern

  14. I service lenses for a living, try these chemicals with cotton swabs. These are the products I use, and in this order for tricky situations. Make sure to use a clean cotton swab for each time you touch the lens.

  15. I service lenses as well. Ive never used anything other than iso, acetone, windex vinegar, and BT67 (lol), but this guy’s definitely giving you good advice.

  16. Yeah, I think it's either a novel rider, or that particular day he was still asleep.

  17. My first time on a sport bike, I was expecting the front fork to turn as much as a dirt bike…. i was like 2 feet from going into the woods before I realized you have to lean lol.

  18. The way a lens works is that all of the pieces of glass inside (elements) are aligned to resolve an image at infinity (your horizon). This is what’s known as “backfocus”, finding and setting your lens to resolve an image at infinity.

  19. The problem is that it's not federally regulated. California can do everything right and then neighboring states can just sell anyone guns.

  20. There are actually federal laws preventing the travel, transfer and sale of firearms between residents of different states, so perhaps just not regulated “well enough”.

  21. Other people are saying that none of these shoot film. Are you saying the canon would?

  22. Student film implies motion picture. These do shoot literal film, as in celluloid, but these bodies are for still photography. So unless you’re making a slide show, or the worlds most expensive stop motion film, these wont work.

  23. Thanks, just somewhat confusing terminology, since movies are often referred to as film, but so is physical photography. I currently shoot movies with a camcorder and that works fine but the quality isn’t very good. I’m planning on using a modern Nikon that shoots video for the movies I make for AP art. I’d love to get ahold of an old video camera that shoots on physical film, but that can be pretty hard to find. I can’t afford anything crazy right now, but in the future I might buy one.

  24. Youre right: film is a physical medium, as well as a colloquialism for a motion picture.

  25. Thanks for this insight, must consider Kowas then. It'd ultimately be Orions Vs. Kowas, we'll have to chose one!

  26. The client wants the output to be shot with anamorphic lens only. So shooting on spherical lenses is out of the question. About Orions, my crew can afford it but I was looking for something in between.

  27. IMO, go with the orions. They’re the most similar in design to panavision anamorphics bc of how they focus. The guy who designed them started at PV, so theres that.

  28. I agree, she was underutilized. I also think the entire naga race is a little neglected. I was always disappointed how we can’t play as them, even though we use them in some illidan missions and they have a pretty complete army… a few more new units and they functioning had a 5th army!

  29. Looks like S4’s, Optimos (obviously the zooms), Zeiss ZF.2 primes adapted to EF mount as well as some other Canon photo zooms. Apparently a bunch of sequences were shot on Canon DSLRs which is news to me I was under the impression this was a 100% Arri show.

  30. Honestly I mainly skimmed for the specs. You’re 100% right, reads like AI…now Im reluctant to believe anything that wasn’t expressly confirmed by imdb lol.

  31. What. I was trying to help them understand that they were woosh’d

  32. Freshman year of college, went on a blunt cruise w some new friends. The driver was a rapper and had the aux, he throws on Rigamortis. I ask “who is this?” He says “Oh bro….Kendrick Lamar, this dude’s about to take over the whole genre”. He queued up ADHD next, the rest is history.

  33. Someone is selling it on eBay and I was thinking of buying it. I’m trying to see if the cost of the camera plus the repair cost would still cost less than the average price of the item.

  34. You cant expect someone to answer honestly, but Ive looked through cracked VF’s before and half the time it isnt that big of a deal, sometimes youre lucky and the crack is in the right spot where it doesn’t effect image.
