1. Iā€™m almost 30 not making much money needing to work part time so I can go to temple during the day. It sucks. Temple during COVID was great for me. The asynchronous classes were amazing. There are some online courses but not nearly enough for a mid-large college.

  2. My higher level classes for my major has zero online and they are all morning/mid afternoon. I am 2 classes and capstone away from graduation but next semester I only can do 2 classes and I will have to go every single day of the week to temple šŸ˜

  3. Iā€™m so sorry thatā€™s my worst fear. I donā€™t ever want to work nights but if it comes to it I will need to!

  4. Counterpoint: holding the door for people more than 3 feet behind you

  5. I donā€™t like when people hold the door when Iā€™m far away. Itā€™s really awkward.

  6. Yup totally. I was close though. Double doors are maybe 5 steps apart.

  7. Although you may not have actually known the celebrity maybe their music, tv show, movie changed your life and you feel a connection to them. I have listened to Breaking Benjamin since 7th grade I am now 28. Their music saved my life and I became a Christian around that time so I have very emotional connection to their music. Although heā€™s not my family/friend/acquaintance I have met Ben and been to several concerts and listen to their music everyday and yes if Ben Burnley died I would mourn for a while.

  8. Online class work best for me. Having to go on campus hinders my ability to have a job and I save a lot of money on transportation using a train vs. getting gas everyday.

  9. I do want to say that these types of messages typically push people further away. I used to be kinda like this with wanting clarity but this can be incredibly off putting.

  10. Hope you enjoy feeling superior, but you misunderstood the way this works. Those people demonstrate that they have experience with scammers, and that probably makes them less likely to fall for a scam. That makes them unattractive to scammers.

  11. Wdym ā€œfeeling superiorā€ sheā€™s allowed to have an opinion.

  12. It really doesnā€™t matter. Just post what you like. Itā€™s too fabricated when you try to have an ā€œaestheticā€ itā€™s not that deep.

  13. Ooo thank you! Iā€™ve never used Uber thought it was a cash back app. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  14. I try to be nice to everyone I meet and yet some people do not like me at all and yet many others do .I have never been able to figure it out and I'm 67 ! I've learned to not let it bother me more than a minute and just move on to find more of those that do like me !

  15. Yes exactly. Rejection still hurts especially when itā€™s friendships but youā€™re right not going to let it Bother me and moving on to people who genuinely care.

  16. Never like this no. Normal growing apart but for someone to delete my number never experienced that.

  17. Are you in the United States? This sounds like such an American thing to say. We are go go go go productivity at all costs.

  18. Lmao this is Reddit she cant write whatever she wantsā€¦ donā€™t like it? YOU get off.

  19. Part of reason why it can get expensive is if you view healthy as fresh. So if you buy lots of fruits and vegetables you have to eat them quickly before they go bad vs something processed with lots of preservatives. So things will probsbly go bad before you can eat all of them and will need to rebuy.

  20. unless you are in prison, homeless, a dorm, or some other circumstance, you probably have access to a fridge. toss it in the freezer, my dude.

  21. Yup i do that but when you thaw it out does it the same as fresh fruit?

  22. One more note. If you have a smart phone, stop what youā€™re doing when you get one of those bits of info and set an alarm immediately. Even if you have to pause a phone conversation or put the phone on speaker while you open your calendar or the alarm app in your phone for the same day event.

  23. I did add it to my Google Calender but I Mađe the mistake of not setting it to ā€œremind me 2 hours beforeā€ it defaults to 15 min ahead.

  24. You can change your defaults in Google calendar, so all my events default to 2hr + 30 min reminders. It's under settings, then click the name of your calendar (I think the default is "events")

  25. I really suggest that you download the app ā€œAlarmedā€.

  26. Iā€™m 28 just became a senior. You got this no one cares when you graduated just that you did it. There arenā€™t many but there are some ā€œolderā€ people on campus. I at least look college age. šŸ˜‚

  27. I honestly love the way it looks. Mine is big on the nostril ends and and tip is thick. Still looking to get a rhinoplasty but my husband says no. The people who bullied you are jealous youā€™re beautiful!

  28. Thatā€™s interesting that you still have huge lectures. I go to a large college and now that I am in my late Junior almost senior the classes are much smaller no more lectures everything is semester long projects around 20-30 people per class.

  29. Do you have disability accommodations through the Office of Students with Disabilities?

  30. Yeah no. Most women would love to stay home and not deal with stressful jobs but life is very expensive especially when you add kids to the mix. Being a SAHM sounds great to me but would never put my husband in that position unless he feels comfortable supporting myself and our future kids. Donā€™t make women feel ā€œlessā€ than because they HAVE to work for their children to have a house and food. Working outside of the home does not make you a bad mother or wife and we do not have a choice so shh. (My mother refused to work and put my father in horrific circumstances to where he was homeless) so stop it with this holier than thou homemakers have. (I am Christian btw) Working women are not ā€œworldlyā€ we simply do NOT have a choice.
