1. Bought a Tornado as my first car. Was so excited for it too. Then, when I was taking for its first drive, I passed several on the street that I could have just stolen instead. Recently brought it to Benny’s and gave it some love.

  2. Central Camera doesn’t do same day, but only charge like ~$13 for develop and scan.

  3. There are Giordano's and Lou Malnatti's in Florida, Arizona

  4. And a Giordano’s in Denver too. Surprised OP didn’t see it on the 16th Street Mall.

  5. Dominick's closes shop, Mariano's dives in quality, then Dom's closes. Can't wait to see what Bob Mariano opens next

  6. I think he has cancer, which is why he sold Dom’s, so I’m guessing nothing. I used to see him walking around Dom’s and he didn’t look well.

  7. My organization is called “Company”

  8. My girlfriend. We’d have sex.

  9. All I got was indoor recess for three weeks. Never got a day off.

  10. Blow Away. Sorry to that guy on this sub who wished he could have seen shows with Brent to be able to see Blow Away.

  11. On Tour has a lot of Dead-related events (and beer names).

  12. This is a great photo. What camera did you use to shoot this?

  13. Nice! I shoot an X-T20. Gotta love the film sims.

  14. Played one where some sketchy dude sells you xray goggles at a bar, and you peer around looking at people naked, and if you look at the guy who sells you the goggles lil micropenis he kills you.

  15. I haven’t thought about this in close to 20 years. My how time flies.

  16. How did you get that information? I’ve been wondering the same thing about 9/14/93

  17. Ticket stub lists a time of 7:30, but who knows when they actually went on.

  18. Does WGN play the Chicago shows? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them on there.

  19. WGN has slightly different programming on cable. It’s likely that they air the Chicago shows instead of stuff like the morning news when you’re watching in Baltimore, for example.

  20. I put one in mine. It’s a lot to take apart to get to the OPV since it’s in the stand with the pump, so you have to essentially dissemble the entire unit to get there, but once it’s done it’s done. Could use it as a good opportunity to perform some other maintenance like new gaskets.

  21. My parents once had a leak in their basement which affected a lot of their albums. A lot of the jackets were ruined, but I was able to clean up the vinyl. I wouldn’t let it bring you down as you’ll likely still be able to save the records.

  22. They sell blank record jackets that you could probably buy. That way they still fit in your collection. You could also get creative with album art!

  23. I grew up in Maryland and when I was a kid we went to Harper’s Ferry. I was very confused as to why they were selling Confederate flags in the gift shop. Quite frankly, 20 some years later, I’m still confused.

  24. i thought HF would be known for its resistance to the Confederacy and slavery, given John Brown

  25. The problem is it’s in West Virginia.

  26. While I can’t specifically answer your question, my first machine was a Saeco Rio Vapore. There are a few parts you can still get for those as they share parts with some Gaggia machines that don’t use the 58mm portafilter, but I found it difficult to find parts outside of those for routine maintenance like gaskets and stock shower screens.

  27. Do we really need to post about every map that it’s not in rotation

  28. I’m waiting for someone to post King’s Canyon…

  29. Has anyone tried Urnex Grindz Grinder Cleaning Tablets or similar? Supposed to be for cleaning out the remnants/residue after you've used up the beans, keep meaning to try some but have yet to pull the trigger, thought perhaps it was ideal if you're switching between bean flavours/origins.

  30. Grindz is an incredible product and I highly recommend it! Easiest way to maintain cleanliness off your burrs without having to disassemble everything. I’m surprised I had to scroll this far to find anyone mention Grindz.

  31. Lol, your generation is so lucky. As a teen boy I had to get my porn from borrowed Beta video tapes, hoping like hell the machine didn't eat the tape.

  32. Ironically, porn is what killed Betamax and helped VHS prevail, since most people didn’t care about the video quality of their porn. I envy your Betamax porn since all I got on Beta as a child of the 90s was 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  33. I know it’s not Lakeivew, but it kind of looks like maybe the one in Ravenswood? I don’t think I’ve been to any others besides those two.

  34. If I am a betting person, I’m going to say that it’s the one on Ashland and Elston.

  35. I’ve heard that location has the best skyline views a Mariano’s has to offer.

  36. This should be the new Doug Heffernan meme

  37. I got a Socks mousepad at the Clinton Library in Little Rock. The woman at the desk was shocked when I enthusiastically asked, “is that a Socks mousepad?!”

  38. I was just talking to a friend of mine that I’d love a ‘71 “So Many Roads.” It’s such a beautiful song from a time when Jerry’s voice wasn’t so beautiful. I’m guessing it’d also be a tad faster tempo too.
