No, it’s 64…it might be a little outdated, but it’s for my son that’s only 11. So that more than enough. I got him doing 3D modeling and a little bit of gaming.
Old school will tell you far back or middle of rail, because they think it’s an AR. New school who actually know how to use a red dot will tell you furthest up front, because you are staying target focused and only aligning the dot over.
Just shoot at 5 yards to see where it’s at or center it with your irons just to get it on paper. Then push the target back 15-25 once you have it centered and adjust for elevation. Remember you are moving the bullet to the red dot not the red dot to the bullet when adjusting according to the arrows.
Invest in a good sight pusher. I got the real avid sight pusher. It works with most guns. These guns cost tooo much to be utilizing a punch, but that’s just me.

I’m sure people still do it, but a “duty use”red dot personally I don’t think it’s needed. like you said, you’re going to abuse it. So I would go with a DPP. Have you seen the Lobos industry mounts? They look better, but not sure for durability and higher than the ones you listed.
Yup, I've seen the Lobos. I just prefer the more rearward mount you can get using the dovetail. I'll probably end up getting the Farrow Tech since it seems to be the lowest to the bore there is.
Are you rocking a Lantac in the upper you have the strike industries on? I went to pick one up today and in their specs they say it's not compatible with Lantac's for whatever reason. Curious if I could do a little Dremel work to make it work, or just pick up a Magpul using your method here.

I swear I didn't see this when I was first looking at their dust covers, but if you go to one of the dust covers on their page and scroll down to compatibility it now says " Not Compatible - Lantac Enchanced BCG due to carrier and bolt design"
You can make anything work. Dust covers are easily modified, but yes mine worked perfectly fine with strike industries dust covers and Lantac bolts. You can also adjust the tension on the cover to pop open easier when charging handle is pulled.
Yeah, I wouldn’t trust anything on eBay or Amazon. A lot of airsoft clones that look identical. Only would buy used if it was from a friend or someone I knew. Buy from a reputable company or website for high end optics.
Before I fired the first round it was rack back and forth with no issues. But when I fired the round the slide locked in place and I was unable to manually rack the slide. I had to manipulate the gun and eventually it seemed to loosen up so I could rack it again. Gave it a few good racks and checked that the screws for the comp were properly secured. And after a second shit did the exact same thing. So I packed up and went home to try to find a solution.
Don’t get one if you plan on leaving it on setting 7/8 it will last you 2 months on battery life. My EFlex ALMOST lasted a year on setting 5/6 most of the time kept as a beside gun and for random range days. EOTECH in general are not good on batteries. I just stuck with holosuns because of battery life now. I haven’t changed a single battery and had them for over 3-4 years now. Reminds me that I should probably change them lol.

Cycle Dummy rounds through it a bunch. I do that with all new guns or new barrels. Different tolerances with different brands.

I found out the store in La Jolla UTC Westfield Mall has them now. No need to go to Vegas or SF.
