1. Lol, unless you're my family where my grandparents are boomers, parents are gen x, and I'm a millennial . Some families have kids young.

  2. Or mine who's dad's a boomer, mums gen x and I'm millennial. Yeah ............

  3. Lol, it happens. My fathers father was 20+ years older than my grandmother. He was I believe the greatest generation while she was boomers. All but 2 kids of his were baby boomers(3 kids) while my father and his younger half sibling were gen x.

  4. Also, CGM isn't made for certain hair types like fine and most medium hair. It works more for hair with thick/corse hair and low posterity.

  5. I spend every second possible flipping it off. He's even gotten a cop to contact me telling me to stop being childish lmao. Like what?!

  6. I wonder what ties he has to the police that they are willing to go to you and tell you how to act in your own yard but willing to tell you a bold face lie about the camera being public facing. I wonder if the news outlet would like to do a story on how the police are allowing your neighbor to film your household in your private property. If in America private property is taken seriously by the citizens.

  7. Doesn't seem like a plausible excuse for them.

  8. Certain parts of the US have roach issues where food not stored properly and sealed can close a facility down.

  9. Omg....never thought about roaches. Upnorth we rarely hear about those. It's mosquitoes for us.

  10. I'm in the northwest, and we don't have them, but the horror stories I've heard makes me never want to live somewhere where they are.

  11. Well maybe Nigeria should nationalize the oil fields and kick Britain out

  12. It gets messy. They need qualified people to run it (educated engineers in that field) . Other countries have done things similar and it's didn't turn out the best.

  13. But your not arguing with facts either you have no data or statistics to show how likely someone is to get slandered on there all your arguing on is your vibe and how “it’s just not a negative space” but that’s your feelings not facts. The facts are is that if you get posted in a private group where people know you can’t defend yourself you are open to get slandered, yes it’s what ifs but let’s not act like it’s a total reach its very possible

  14. And defamation of character, which can be a lawsuit.

  15. But he's not a cheater. So he shouldn't be on a site that is supposed to protect women from violent abusive men.

  16. Yes unfortunately this is a pattern for him and I frequently am made to feel less important than his immediate family, but I will also say I am a sensitive person and lots of times he just doesn’t “get” me and cannot put himself in my shoes. I will say he did make it up to me by taking me on a trip to the Smoky Mountains, but situations happen frequently where he needs to make it up to me

  17. So my father was this way. He could never see my mother and his children as his immediate family. He always said his mother and sister as it (never any of his half siblings nor father). He literally told us that we weren't as important as his "immediate family" in his words and actions.

  18. I think this is painting with too broad a brush, with the intention of softening the relative horror of the transatlantic slave trade.

  19. But the transatlantic slave trade wasn't the only slave trade, so why should it be the only one recognized? Why aren't we more focused on the many countries/cultures that still have forms of slavery? Why is it wrong to point out that every culture has had slavery or owned slaves? I mean, even Africans owned slaves, that Brazil had a huge percent of the slaves from the transatlantic slave trade, but everyone only points out Britain, Dutch (Nordic), and America's involvement. I guess for myself, I see that every culture has had difficulties have been taken advantage. Why nit-pick who has had it worse, that's impossible to calculate.

  20. The slavery they created 🤣🤣🤣 who cares, europeans doing what Europeans do

  21. You do know slavery wasn't created by just Europeans. Like slavery has been around from the beginning of man.

  22. I believe this is mostly false, especially in the US. The husband is named the father by default, regardless of dna results.

  23. Depends on the state. Some states allow you to appeal and do DNA testing, but you have to have the name of the father for them to test. They will not remove him until they have another man on the hook.

  24. To me there's something wrong about putting kids stuff in boxes. Harder to have spontaneous "oh, look at that I haven't played with that in awhile" moments.

  25. They have the bins with windows in them. It gives the chance of seeing what's in the bin but also looks more tidy/ less cluttered. My cousin does this for her kids. She also like myself labels everything which helps find items. It also allows her kids to learn to keep a tidy area. But they are a military family , so they get surprise inspections, and everything has to be tidy and clean.

  26. This is why I don't decorate more. It's just more... crap. And I have to dust it? Nooooo. I feel like a terrible blanket is laid on me anytime I go to a home of a collector. There's just not a single empty space anywhere. Every surface. Every nook. All the cranies. Just packed full.

  27. This is my sibling they have something on every single surface. It drives me crazy, where I want to help them with their pack rat problem. They kept everything where every 6 months I go through my home and get rid of unneeded items. Drives my husband crazy but in the end he appreciates that the house is presentable at all times and not cluttered.

  28. Are you married but not cohabitating? That alone creates a mountain of dynamics that could change a ton of answers here

  29. She cheated on him. It was in her post history until she deleted it. I don't think she knows it's on the rereddit where you can see deleted old posts.

  30. People went through OPs history, and then when OP noticed people found out, they deleted the history of the posts. Lots of OPs forget we can look into their post history. Op cheated on husband, then husband almost cheated on OP as revenge. Then, they went to couples therapy to work on trust issues.

  31. I've been given gaba for anxiety. It helps but it feels absolutely like nothing if I take it every day. Like I develop a tolerance to it crazy fast or something. But it's miraculous for 2 days a week.

  32. Yeah, my neurologist even tried it to help my migraines. It helped like the 1st 3-5 days, but then we had to keep upping it to get the same relief. She finally stopped it once we reached almost 600mg. I was lucky I was able to quite cold turkey and had no issue. Finally , new meds came out that helped me way more. Uberlvy saved me, just get the feeling of one about to hit and pop the Uberlvy, and it doesn't hit me now, no more migraines with vertigo.

  33. My wife makes these needle point art prints framed and matted. For her nursing friends , at first I had no clue how expensive it was. Typical 25$ for the material 150$ for matting and framing it !! So 175$ per gift , not included the hours involved in making it !! Like seriously if someone gifts you a needle point framed like seriously appreciate that stuff cause they didn’t get it at Walmart !!

  34. And that depends on the size. I cross stitch and do embroidery, I've been working on a huge star wars cross stitch for my husband for 2 years. I've already put $180, and I haven't even gotten to matting and framing, which for the size and all could end up $200. It's nice that your wife does that for coworkers. I personally stopped making items for others unless they appreciate the time and money going into it. I have a few family members I do them for, but otherwise, I either get paid to do one or make them for my husband or self.

  35. Yeah, my CRPS has spread with many of my surgeries. Any time you do a procedure, you have the chance of causing injury, which can kick in CRPS.

  36. This is actually a pretty typical policy for schools, it hasn't changed in decades. Girls are expected to physically submit to sexual assault while calling out for a teacher to intervene. It's written policy in the fucking zero-tolerance handbooks.

  37. Yeah, I actually almost got expelled for finally taking a stand for myself in HS. Had a guy that kept grabbing my ass and chest. Reported him over 10 times, I was pretty much given the party line of boys will be boys. Well, one day, I snapped. I put him in an arm lock. I was taught by my father where if I needed to, I could break his arm.

  38. I think the brass compliments the tone of the leather. If it was a darker or lighter leather, I'm not sure the brass would work as well as it does. Honestly, it's beautifully done.

  39. I have fine hair, so I've learnt to use lightweight products that are meant for fine hair. My hair is a weird mixture of high and low posterity. I personally found that certain heavy conditioners weigh down my hair instead of hydrating. I do a deep condition or hot oil treatment every 1-2 weeks instead of using a heavy conditioner every time (no more than 20 mins). It's really lowered my frizz issue. I only have frizz the 3rd day halo type.

  40. What hot oil treatment do you use? I also have fine hair that responds to hot oil but I no longer have access to the Hair Milk product I was using

  41. I make my own, I use the carrier oils of Sweet Almond and Rosehip oil. With essential oils of peppermint, cedarwood, and clary sage(1-2 drops each), with some drops of Argan oil. These are the oils I've chosen for my hair and scalp. I'm allergic to certain things that made me have to create my own. But if you go this way of making your own, research carrier oils and essential oils. You'll want to pick the ones that will benefit your hair and scalp the best.

  42. i mean its more of a hot pink color, which is pretty common in a kids room

  43. Reminds me of my siblings' bedroom when they were young. They wanted a purple room walls and ceiling with dark bamboo hardwood floors and a purple shaggy rug. Was just too much. It would have been better if they picked one wall as their focal point.

  44. Do you have a Tandy leather anywhere near you? They are the best place for material when you’re beginning. The hobby lobby stuff I’ve seen is not great for learning. It’s very low quality and hard to work with because of the tanning it comes with and the subpar thickness and quality.

  45. Love Tandy Leather! I use them to get buckles and odds and ends. I can't wait until I need them for leather, though. They have a beautiful selection, from what I've seen.

  46. Op, I'm so sorry. I'm I'm the process of working on getting my reduction. I was so worried how my husband would feel if he would find me unattractive to have the scars one gets with the reduction (way worse than implants). He is an amazing partner. He told me that he loves me, and scars and smaller breasts aren't going to change that. I already have a good amount of scars and tattoos, so what's a few more. You need to find someone who loves you for you.

  47. Thank you for explaining reality to ppl. As someone who nearly died from the hell you describe I appreciate you taking time to do so.

  48. No problem. From what I've heard from my friend, it's just heartbreaking when someone is disabled but the government doesn't want to help. Too many think getting disability is simple. They believe in the false propaganda that SSD is being taken advantage of, which gives the impression it's very easy to get disability l.

  49. I was saying based off her basically appearing to have a disease enough to classify her as disabled.

  50. Yes, her doctors may say she is "disabled," but the government may not agree. SSD has actually lists of conditions they consider to be a disability. If your condition isn't on the list, it can sometimes(most of the time) be impossible to get SSD. The government is pretty strict on this and is always looking for ways to deny disability. They even have a limit on how many times you can appeal their decision.

  51. I'm at an age where everyone has kids anyway, nobody's paying for a babysitter to listen to a load of work talk. I guess the problem is incompatibility, neither of us expects to be invited to stuff so it's not an issue for us, we got together a bit older and are both used to having our own lives.

  52. That's a good point also. My husband is the youngest on his team by about 7-10 years. We are CF where the rest have young children or kids in college. They really do not have much in common in a personal way.

  53. If she brought him out every now and again she'd already have the introductions handled and it wouldn't be an chore at all.

  54. It could also be a different work environment. My husband's company doesn't involve spouses to events. They don't care about your home life they just want their employees to work as a team and keep it as professional as possible. They used to have a mandatory 1x a month team bourbon/whiskey tasting thing. No spouses were ever invited. He goes out to events for work where it's literally just his team .

  55. I have one that is similar and love it! I can vacuum then us it and it's like I never vacuumed. Anymore I used it even in the rugs.

  56. LOL...... I'm an avid hiker and hike with countless women of all ages..... NO One is wearing a Thong while hiking and certainly not bright red and matching their bra..... Your girl is doing some other type of vigorous activity on that trip and not hiking...

  57. I hike and only wear thongs. I don't find other underwear comfortable. Honestly, I would rather have no underwear, which is why thongs work the best for me. I have to wear an underwire bra, I haven't been able to find a sports bra that fits me properly (really huge chest by small around). Everyone is different.

  58. Omg the chafing from a thong and a hike?! No freaking way I could do that, then you add on underwire?!…no lol

  59. Ehhh, I prefer thongs. If you wear the correct size, you never notice you're wearing them. Also, my bra size is impossible to find a sports bra that actually fits and supports (30 KK us). So I've learnt to be comfortable in what is available, which is underwire bras I other from the UK.

  60. 1388 hmm???? Oddly close to 1488. Did you know how the nazi slogan got there????

  61. Nope, I didn't. It's my dogs birth year mixed with mine. I don't look up those types of slogans, never had the desire. But I'm pretty sure any mixture of numbers can be connected to anything.
