How british people react to questions about king/queens? For example if i will ask "who is better/do u like more queen or current king?". Is it something like sacred and not can be discussed/compared or people react openly(?)
Most people don't care either way about the monarchy, asking a question like that would get a pretty straightforward answer - they either prefer the Queen (most people) or the King.
Yes. Winning the war bolstered nationalism. And guess what the Nat is in Natpop? Mosley ran a fascist party in the UK even tho they won the war in the OTL. Nationalism and extremism isn't exclusive
Tbf Moseley didn't get very far while he led the fascist party, his only real chance of taking power was if he had the Labour party adopt his manifesto while he was an MP and then get elected leader of the party.
Would Germany have stopped the commune though? Surely an isolated France opposed to imperialism would benefit German interests more than helping the Republican forces?
Why would France be opposed to imperialism if it was a communist state? You can’t spread the revolution unless you expand. People act like the ussr wasn’t trying to create a global empire during the Cold War just as much as the us was.
I more mean in Africa, the French would be less likely to push for colonies there, and any claims they would make would be ignored. So it would mean the Germans would be able to get more land in the scramble for Africa than they did.
Reagan was literally the ultimate neolib along with Thatcher; deregulation, free trade and low taxes are all economically liberal policies, hence why when those ideas came back from the grave in the 80s they were called neoliberalism.
I think you're underselling how much of a major foreign policy play the winds of change speech was, Macmillan did the speech knowing that it would massively speed up decolonisation in Africa and his decision to criticise apartheid was afaik the first time that a Western power denounced the regime, so it began the process of isolating South Africa. Tbh, everything I've read about Macmillan seems quite positive, I'd say he was quite similar to LBJ in America.
The best way to get the AfD support to crater is to invite them to political negotiations and show voters they don't actually have working solutions. In Denmark DF collapsed in support 4 years after becoming the second biggest party and the biggest on the right side.
While I agree, it’s important to remember UK put in BoJo after* US put in Trump, and also important to remember that 3+ parties often ends up with the party coalitions.
That crowd in Arsenio LOST it when they saw the first president who loved good ol' rock and roll. I want to see how people react when America gets its first president that can play electric guitar.
In the UK Tony Blair was a guitarist and it was seen as something cool and it added to his image of being young and charismatic but ultimately it didn't mean that much.
Yes, but it's like praising Adolf for his contributions to animal rights, free tabaco policies, the first build of a proto welfare state, health avances (with human experiments) and recognize Iran as Iran instead of Persia
I've always found it strange that Hitler supported Persia changing it's name to Iran considering that Iran comes from Aryan - I would've thought Hitler would have objected to that and said that the Aryans were North Europeans and not Iranians.
Cleveland, Alabama
Also the original Cleveland in North East England
It was actually Cleaveland in Ohio, originally.
The county was created after Cleveland in Ohio but the area has been called Cleveland for centuries.
*Liberals. The French Republic certainly wasn’t built by “moderates” at the time.
I’m pretty sure this is talking about the Third Republic which was built by moderates.
Truly the funniest war criminal. Other countries war criminals just don't have the charisma and comedic timing
Tony Blair could be pretty funny in PMQs
Yeah it's weird to think that Obama has been the only boomer US President. And he's less boomer than several others seemingly.
Clinton Bush 2 and Trump were all born in 1946 making them boomers.
Lincoln, by far.
You mean John Wilkes Booth?

Prussia is a pain to manage at first.
My first game was as Prussia with no issues, it's really not that bad
Oh ok no problem
Bro how do you know who Ribbentrop is but not Truman?
Wrong there is also gibraltar because fuck the lazy spaniards
Britain has owned Gibraltar longer than the Spanish did.
Number 7 somehow looks like a cross between Liam Gallagher and Damon Albarn lol
Thinking about you
Biden and Sunak have an OK relationship, not good, not bad, just kinda there. Truss wasn't around long enough, and Johnson was too Donald like for Joe
Major wasn’t even that old when he was prime minister, he became PM when he was 47 so only a few years older than Clinton.
Morbid and depressing but you have a point (if I think what you’re implying is actually what you’re implying).
That ships will be too big to fit through?

I like how he specifies 23. Like 22 and 24 are fine, but 23? No way in hell.
It’s cos nobody likes you when you’re 23
The PC was so hilarious, man.

Isn’t this just Reagan?
Reagan was not fiscally liberal at ALL.
Reagan was literally the ultimate neolib along with Thatcher; deregulation, free trade and low taxes are all economically liberal policies, hence why when those ideas came back from the grave in the 80s they were called neoliberalism.
Harold MacMillan denouncing Apartheid in a speech in front of the South African prime minister was pretty cool tbh.
'incident' doing so much work on behalf of conservatives

I know the AfD aren't the Nazi's (thought a substantial group of their supporters are), but how did that go in 1933?

Trump was elected in 2016 Bojo became PM in 2019.
The same TR who signed more executive orders than all of his predecessors combined(1,081 to be precise)?
Really Calvin Coolidge of all people signed over a thousand executive orders?
How long was your campaign? I want to try these heavier mods, but even with my pc upgrades, time passes lower than what I'm used to.
I find GFM actually runs better than vanilla lol

And the argentine Nat Pops
