Eeeehhh, dunno about that one chief. I've only seen the Reiwa Rider Shows and a couple from the Heisei Era, but I can tell you even just one of those shows is waaaay darker than Ultraman could ever be lol. Which isn't a bad thing at all, it's just a fact. And I'm also not saying that Ultraman can't get dark at times either. But overall, as a franchise, Ultraman is much more lighthearted and targeted towards kids
