1. She was in Schmigadoon too, if you like theater stuff, youā€™ll totally find it funny.

  2. Yo mama so spineless, it doesnā€™t even do anything when you step on a sidewalk crack!

  3. I have severe POTS and going up stairs on all-fours is so much easier (and very fun) I donā€™t get to do it at my house much because we have a spiral-y staircase but on straight staircases I cannot be convinced to walk up like a normal person

  4. Oh my gosh, I havenā€™t told yā€™all about Summer yet! Theyā€™re a woman I met the other day. Sheā€™s super cool! I hope theyā€™re having a great day/night :)

  5. Oh thank god, someone else said this!! Saw that movie at school when I was little. No warning whatsoever. It was devastating

  6. Heya! Iā€™m 17, trans (he/they), in the US, and also autistic. I like writing, drawing, and I have way too many niche hobbies/interests to count (NASA-themed lego sets, paper-making, origami, etc.) I also love musical theatre (most recently I designed the puppet head for Milky White in a community production of Into The Woods!) and I would love to exchange letters :)

  7. He wouldnā€™t respect when I didnā€™t want to do something, trampled over my boundaries, and possibly took advantage of me when drunk (due to being drunk I canā€™t properly recall what happened)

  8. My ex-wife and I grew apart. We were both just existing and neither one of us really wanted to admit it. Don't get me wrong, she is an amazing woman but there was nothing to the relationship. After 12 years of marriage we ended it. That was 2 years ago and she's still a good friend whom I talk to regularly. Both of us have moved on and it seems to have worked out.

  9. Hey, kudos to you both for doing what was right for you! Glad things worked out in the end :)

  10. That's not harmless at all.

  11. Depends on whether they know the person; I assumed the neighbor was someone they talk to regularly in which case theyā€™d likely know if it was scaring them. Definitely one to be cautious about though!

  12. Also, thereā€™s a real For Sara tape out there we can listen to??? Where can I find it???

  13. The full thing is on YouTube! There are actual copies of the tape out there, but they donā€™t sell them anymore so youā€™d have to find one being resold. I highly recommend the YouTube video though, itā€™s adorable :)

  14. My username has been called transphobic beforeā€¦ glad some people on here get the joke.

  15. As a trans person, how would that be transphobic?? I may be biased because Iā€™ve seen Airplane (and itā€™s a hilarious movie) but I legitimately cannot understand how someone could interpret that as transphobic

  16. I have a severely impaired sense of smell. Itā€™s never been very good, but I had to take an antibody test recently and as it turns out actually I had Covid-19 a while back (I was asymptomatic as far as sickness symptoms, and I have POTS so I would assume I just thought it was a bad flare-up. Iā€™m vaccinated now, but it took a little while for the medical stuff to get cleared up so I may not have been vaccinated at the time I got Covid)

  17. I cant believe people are even speculating. Clearly, there are only three possible explanations.

  18. I feel like this is an extreme violation of privacy. As someone who has a very positive relationship with my parents, I can 100% say I would not want them to track my location 24/7 when they have no reason to. I donā€™t know your full situation so I canā€™t speak on what exactly is going on there, but this definitely doesnā€™t sit right with me.

  19. It's not "joking about a different type of abuse". It's highlighting that those shirts are problematic by taking it way over the top, so that everyone can see it's fucked up.

  20. If thatā€™s the case, the fact that several other people have misinterpreted it as serious instead of satire probably means they should do a better job of highlighting the fact that itā€™s sarcastic. All this is going to do is get the cops called on people.

  21. I think that's partially because they came across it in a sub about toxic relationship stuff. It was presented to them as sincere.

  22. The way I saw it originally was that it was supposed to be a joke, but it lands really badly especially considering that there are unfortunately many, many people who truly believe that acting abusive and possessive is ā€œcuteā€ or ā€œattractive.ā€ (My ex was one of those people.) My reasoning for putting it in this sub was less about whether it is or isnā€™t satire, and more about why someone would want to wear this or joke about it in the first place. I guess to me it doesnā€™t actually seem all that ā€œover the topā€ because there are people who think that way.

  23. Is she supposed to look like a clown? Cus like no offense to the art work cus it still looks good but she looks like a clown

  24. Itā€™s the pale skin, colored hair, and pink nose like circle on her face

  25. I feel like Iā€™m going to get downvoted for this because of the Reddit-Tiktok rivalry, but I met them through TikTok.

  26. Santa Jaws. A family Christmas movie about a shark that brutally kills people, Christmas-style.

  27. I donā€™t know if I just somehow missed this, but wasnā€™t everyone going to raid Area 51 at one point? I remember that it got turned into an alien-themed party or something but it seems strange to me that no one would still attempt the raid. With the amount of people there, I would be surprised if there arenā€™t at least be a few incidents in which someone tried to raid the area and didnā€™t make it back out.

  28. Or, "help me" says the world "i am dying"

  29. May I recommend John Greenā€™s ā€œThe Anthropocene Reviewed?ā€ That book is the first thing I turn to whenever I get overly exhausted by Big Things, whether thatā€™s climate change, the pandemic, or anything else. (Of course, itā€™s not going to have the same effect on everyone, but itā€™s worth a try if your local library has it available.) :)

  30. That makes sense. I am glad that you were around to clear things up for me. I wonder if an ESA would have helped me when I was in college. I dropped out twice and never finished due to my anxiety disorder. I find my cat to be a real comfort. How long have you had your service dog? Are you training her to learn new tasks, or is there someone else who does that?

  31. Iā€™ve had her since March 5th of 2020! (Right before the pandemic hit haha) Iā€™m training her to do PoTS related tasks since thatā€™s not her original/primary job, but she was in training for a year before I got her :)

  32. Oh, I am glad that you had her to keep you company throughout the pandemic! I hope that her training is going well. :)

  33. Technically all negative feelings can be eliminated with a sufficiently powerful lobotomy.

  34. Iā€™m so sorry but that seriously sounds like a GLaDOS quote. Like I can 100% see her saying this to Chell no questions asked

  35. Do not apologize, my sense of humor is unnervingly similar to GLaDOS.
