I've had mostly good experiences! They do go quite fast and some of them can be very touchy, so I highly suggest using them on riverside or an actual bike path first. You also need to keep your eye on the battery--sometimes they drain fast, and because the docking stations are spread out, it can be difficult to switch out bikes. But they are so, so fun and I always have a great time on them!
If you asked then to step away whenever they are going to cut ass and they refuse to, then I believe that could be described as distracting and you would be able to call them on a courtesy violation.
