1. Would you be open to commissioning? I would love to gift a drawing if my first house to my wife

  2. You need to upgrade to Serrano peppers my man! Cheers mate!

  3. Ohhhhh they sound hot! Do I need to put the toilet paper in the freezer after eating one of them??

  4. Is that a thing down under? Here in the US we just have to stick it out. I’ll give it a shot next time I eat something spicy

  5. Heading to Dallas soon, also for work. BBQ is my thing so I’m trying to find two spots to go to. I did notice Pecan Lodge so I’ll probably go here but I might need one more spot if I have time. Maybe Terry Black’s.

  6. Whatever you do, do not go to Pecan Lodge… it’s quite trash

  7. Can I be adopted please? I need a job and country like yours.

  8. If you ever come to Texas, I’d love to show you around.

  9. Clay Cooley is a fucking cheese dick

  10. Nah man, Frank is a person, he had chickens cut up Frank..

  11. Thanks for the reply! I'm going to give this a shot this weekend.

  12. “Tell me more” is a great Cajun cookbook. We have a tradition in my family that everyone gets one once they move out on their own lol.

  13. Thanks for the recommendation!

  14. Your old pizza oven was better, Mate. Super disappointing

  15. Yeah the Arrosto was a beast! But is falling apart. Can’t handle the heat (no pun intended) the Gozney is a far better build. The wife bought me this as a present….. so it’s got to be used now 🤣

  16. I’ve gotta find a wife like yours!! Cheers mate. On a different note, I’ve always wondered… how the hell do you and just your wife eat 6 pizzas weekly? Surely you both don’t eat all of that

  17. Fuckkkkk leftovers are going to be good on friday

  18. Great choice!! Cattleack is certainly among the best in Dallas, alongside Heim, Goldee’s, Daynes, Terry Blacks etc.. Pecan Lodge sucks

  19. Designing a landscape plan on your own can be a rewarding and cost-effective approach. Here are steps and tips to help you create a beautiful landscape without the need for a professional landscape architect:

  20. Hi, thanks for the thoughtful response! This is sort of where I ended up landing in my design approach. One thing that still struggle with is finding full-sun flowering shrubs/perennials for a super deep (20'+) bed in front of our house. The previous owners installed some massive beds, so filling them is quite the task. Do you also have any recommendations on the free online landscape design tools? I've never been able to find a good one that allows for visuals, etc.

  21. I've had the best luck with Atlantic Giant seeds. If you really want a giant though, there's a knack to it. Pick the best pumpkin and leave it on the vine and then prune all the other pumpkins off. Prune the runners as well. You can give it a sugar water IV as well with some thick cotton wick. You make a slit in the main vine and stuff one end of the wick into it. Then put the other end in a container of sugar water. I've tried soaking the wick in sugar water firsf, and I've started it dry. Both seem to work equally as well. I would totally send you some seeds but our last batch of seeds went moldy so I too am in the market this year. Sometimes you can even find Atlantic Giant seeds at your local gardening store or farm stand.

  22. Wow! Super informational and impressive. Didn’t realize that there was so much involved with growing a giant pumpkin..! I simply thought it was the pumpkin varietal that mattered. Thanks for the info

  23. Growing a giant pumpkin is mostly technique, you can plant seeds of giant pumpkin but unless you're trying to grow a giant, they only get so big.

  24. What technique would be involved to ensure it gets large enough? Fertilizer?

  25. I bought a bottle of it a month ago for $90 or so because I enjoyed the Port Wood Glendronach so much (not so much the 12). The Glendronach 15 definitely is worth the price point that it is currently and is a solid sherry whiskey. I do believe spending the extra $10 for GlenAllachie 15 can get you a slightly better sherry bomb though

  26. What are some other whiskys that you might recommend similar to the glendronach 15? It was one of my favorites that I've had due to the malty-ness and dried jammy fruit notes. I'm a scotch noob..

  27. Edradour 12 has you covered, it’s so good. Glenrothes Whiskey Maker’s Cut is great and isn’t spoken enough either, being it’s only $80 for first-fill sherry aged.

  28. Man, I have such a hard time finding any of those spirits. The Texas market just seems to get picked over, and all the big box stores don't really carry them.. such a shame

  29. Where did you order this sample kit?

  30. This is such a great explanation. I wish there were more articles on Chinese related items for the normal American. I found this extremely informative and (dare say it) authentic. This is exactly how recipes should be communicated versus trying to simply bang out an easy sauce, it feels unauthentic that way.

  31. real question - what is iguana man? Heard it come up a few times.

  32. The right cheek might get a bit sunburnt

  33. It never hurts to keep improving your craft for at home BBQ by learning a thing or two from competition guys. I've learned a good bit that I use at home for non competition Que.

  34. Awesome info here! I watched some of Harry Soo's videos last night and learned quite a bit about ribs already lol. I usually follow guys like Chud BBQ for info, but Harry seems to know all the tricks!

  35. Look up KCBS competition BBQ on YouTube. Harry Soo does a great job explaining it and there are a good amount of others that explain the difference. They judge off appearance (weighted lowest), then taste and tenderness. Taste is subject to the personal preference of the judge, usually safe with a bold but even balance of sweet, savor and back end heat. Tenderness for Chicken and ribs should be bite through, no skin pulls off and the meat doesn't fall off the bone on a rib. It should basically show your teeth marks and pull away with no other meat attached, unless you have dull teeth lol.

  36. Thanks, this is super helpful! I'm sure I can learn a thing or to for backyard BBQ from the competition guys. I'll look into this.

  37. Trout in Texas in the summer? I go to Broken Bow OK about 3 hours from Dallas and that is the closest place I know of to catch trout especially this time of year.

  38. You have a paddle boat or something to get the bass? Not a lot of wading in NTX

  39. CO, NM, and AR for troots, anywhere along the coast for redfish & sea troots.

  40. Damn, I wanna go red fishing so badly. What’s the best place nearest Dallas?

  41. Deep fry it with some peanut butter and throw some iguana caviar on top
