If a volume alert is set as a fraction of an historic measure of volume (last trading day or last 7 trading days or whatever), and GME's volume has been very low for the last week or so, if it's not also very low today, it could just be that today's volume is more normal. Look into the mechanics of the alert and let us know what triggered it. It may be something you set up and forgot about.
Thanks for the detail. I assure you I have never set these alerts. I had one from last year for 5mil volume the average at the time but never this. I mean I have been holding since Feb 21 and it has been trading sideways for a while not sure why today if all days this happened.
