I am so glad you got the problem resolved. Honestly, them being fired was the softest punishment for that kind of discrimination. Withholding medications to anyone, for any personal reason is absolutely fucked, and could honestly be met with a lawyer. I'm glad it worked out for you, and I hope going forward you are met with much more professionalism and compassion.
