A few weeks ago, EA closed the Origin site for pc users and forced us all to get the EA app instead. Origin was shut down. You may be getting caught in the crossfire of this. Maybe Mac was late doing it, but they are shutting Origin down as far as I know. You'll need to download the EA app.
