1. What context. A dude killed two people (most likely) and got away with it. The people cheering are happy purely on the colour of the dudes skin.

  2. There is context. This happened not long after the Rodney King trial, where a bunch of LAPD cops beat a black man half to death and later got acquitted despite there being loads of evidence against them. The LAPD was known for harassing the shit out of minorities for years, so something like this wasn't new.

  3. You’re just justifying racist behaviour. You either agree with it or you don’t. If it’s a la carte……

  4. I'm trying to provide context and show how the complexity of the race relations in America affected the trial and the reactions surrounding the verdict, but hey if you wanna stick your head in the sand and keep arguing in bad faith, then you do you.

  5. Hello underworld, it's me yours truly

  6. Have you or anyone played Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor and Sekiro? I played Fallen Order and am playing Survivor now. How do you think I'll find Sekiro?

  7. It has the same guard/parrying mechanics as the Jedi games, including the block meter for you and the enemies, but the parrying window is much tighter in Sekiro. It makes it harder than the Jedi games for sure but once you get the hang of the enemy attack timings it's so much fun.

  8. Jimmy had a 110 RTG and 9 TDs and 1 INT, 67% completion, 2.4% INT rate with CMC. Brock had a 113 rating this year with a 3/1 TD/INT ratio, 68% completion, 2.5% INT rate. Numbers are similar

  9. If you actually watch the games instead of stat watching, you'd know that you're wrong. Brock's hitting the deep shots and sideline throws that Jimmy could never do. He's seeing the field better and not doing the "WTF WAS THAT" throws as often as Jimmy loved to do at least once a game. He's way more mobile than Jimmy as well. Brock's stats would've been much higher if he didn't keep getting pulled out of the 4th quarter because the niners were blowing a lot of teams out.

  10. Saw this pretty late, but I recommend Thousand Stroke Tattoo in SF. He's done a cyberpunk Chinese lion in the past, I'm sure he can do a cyberpunk dragon for you:

  11. My favorite take on the rule:

  12. Cam doesn't have to heavily rely on any of his weapons

  13. Lol I'm going to do this. Thanks for the idea 😂

  14. There's some buzz where I am in Silicon Valley, but certainly not crazy. I think it's a combination of (a) most people who live here didn't grow up here, and (b) the Warriors are a dynasty and the Giants had 3 titles just a decade ago, so being on the verge of a championship doesn't feel that unique.

  15. I'm in SF itself and it was pretty crazy here after the NFCCG lol. Lots of die hard fans still here

  16. Hi all, fan of a non-serious/for-fun football organization, I've always been curious what the vibe is like in cities that are going to the superbowl / deep in the playoffs. Like can you feel like tension in KC now? How about the Bay area? Is it noticeable, or is it not that deep?

  17. There's a guy in my neighborhood that shoots off fireworks after every niner win. After winning the NFCCG I think he shot his entire stock lol. People are pretty excited, there were street parties in SF immediately after the game, tons of cars and trucks waving niner flags this entire week, and lots of people wearing niner gear in general.

  18. Can already see the “leave Sirianni in Brazil” if they lose

  19. John Lynch liked that tweet

  20. I joined back in 2015, one of my favorite memories from back then was the Blaine Gabbert Jesus edits that were being made after we beat the Bears lol. It was also awesome seeing the same people on this sub throughout the years. A lot of people on this sub that I see celebrating today, are also the same people that I remember complaining about the team with way back in 2015.

  21. The 49ers o line has declined tremendously over the last few seasons so this could be a problem for them.

  22. The oline has been amazing at run blocking but average at best at pass blocking for years

  23. What sucks is that his articles are generally very good. Then you look at his Twitter lol

  24. Mahomes would've said something like the refs were taking away greatness from Hardman

  25. Is this part of the regular SF Chronicle newspaper for today? Or a separate issue?

  26. Part of the regular paper. It's an extra sheet that wraps around the actual front page. My bad about the confusing title. I didn't want to just call it the chronicle since it's not the front page.

  27. Thanks! Going to try to hunt for one of these today

  28. If you are buying a vintage Starter/Chalk Line jacket (which are pretty much the same thing except Starter has "49ers" on the back while Chalk Line has "Forty Niners" instead), make sure to size up. These jackets were made pretty small back then. I'm a Medium and a Medium Starter jacket was too small for me. Large was a much more comfortable fit for me.

  29. Be aware of the bag policy at Levi's:

  30. I got it on sale a while ago for ~$20. I had a lot of fun with it. I wouldn't get it full priced but for $20 I definitely got my money's worth.

  31. I have the same jacket! Wear it with pride
