I appreciate memes, but if I have one disappointment about this poll, it was Judau getting meme'd out day 1 instead of seeing how far he'd go. I feel fairly confident he'd make the Top 10.
Agreed, the hardest part about getting into new AU's is falling for a new setting and then realizing that the 25-50 episode run or whatever it got is all of it's content.
I'd say Rokka no Yusha, it starts with a generic action fantasy story and eventually goes to a murder mystery. I actually liked it, but not sure if that "early bait" was necessary
This was my vote too. It passed my 3 episode test, I liked the set up and the characters and was ready for a normal battle Shonen show. Then 9 episodes of standing in a room talking, solve a mystery, then cliffhanger into the same mystery. I felt betrayed
That... is basically what I unknowingly did with my Warforged Armorer. The idea was basically a robot who turns themself into a Monk-like warrior by augmenting their own body, but I hadn't realized the full implications of that.
I have a recurring character I make in one of our groups DMs world. He's trying to build himself into a perfect machine, and hides in a dungeon somewhere during timeskips to rebuild. He's tried out every flavor of artificer so far, and we are on "Unit 6"
All comboes aren't created equally. [[Vito]] and [[exquisite blood]] are way more degenerate than, say, combining all of the mirrodin Stations in a giant rube goldberg
I feel called out. I have an [[Urza, Lord Protector]] deck that is all card draw, artifact recursion, and interaction, that only wants to win by getting all the stations out of the deck. I call it Urza's Breakfast Machine.
The wiki is pretty good if you want an overview of everything. Wizards site has the story back to Khans of Tarkir. Before that you'd need to go hunting for books.
It is known that the only races are humans, catboys/catgirls (still humans), humans twinks with long ears, huge humans, humans for scalies, playboy girls/boys and potatoes.
Kallist is Jace's second-oldest friend (after Emmara), a character who only appears in Jace's first book, Agents of Artifice. He's a non-walker who works for Tezzeret's Consortium that rapidly becomes Jace's closest friend in the group, and eventually ends up fleeing the Consortium with him. Stuff... Happens, Jace and Kallist mind-swap, and Jace dies in Kallist's body which shocks the mind-swap into undoing itself, and Jace feels just fucking horrible about Kallist's death. He's not brought up a lot because he's a one-off book character but he's pretty formative to Jace's early character development.
I think the first riftwar books would make a good series. I'd think it's low risk too, since Magician has a good end point that could be done in 2 seasons, and then if it's working just pick the spinoff for whichever was the breakout character.
Ornithopter was an already existing word so we don't need to guess too much what the overall craft would look like. We have notes from the 11th century and Leonardo da Vinci's drawings. Working Ornithopters were created in 1871.
There were a ton of other TCGs in the 90s, but most of them were not particularly good games. A lot of them featured very long turns and very non-interactive play.
The Invasion? That's when they killed Gerard, half the Weatherlight crew, and a lot of nameless Dominarians. It seemed lame at the time but it had actual consequences.
It's why I don't like the "calories in calories out" mindset. Because while it is true, it doesn't address the mental side. It isn't just a diet to lose weight. it is a permanent lifestyle change that takes away what may be the person's only source of positive feelings.
Fireworks were my favorite pop-punk band from the moment I hears Arrows. I wish I liked the new album more, only Goodnight Tomb and I want to start a religion with you have made it to my playlists
I remember bringing my deck to middle school and everyone said my deck wasn't legal and that I was playing wrong. I was playing FNM regularly and had a pretty janky but normal type 2 deck. They had no idea how to play properly (they played all the lands in their hand each turn and always ended the turn by drawing to 7)

Judau has the best newtype pressure moment, it's why he's my favorite

If you're lucky you get a side story Manga. If you're unlucky, you get Frozen Teardrop
We all wish we had kept and preserved the boxes for all of our SNES games.
Nah I put them on as knee and elbow pads when I was pretending to be the megazord. Wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

I was dumb enough to try unlocking Luigi in ds trying the methods of the original 64 game
L is real! Mew is under the truck too

Hey is there anyway that I can read all the MTG lore like this on the internet in one site?

Raymond E. Feist - The Riftwar Cycle
You get 2, between Midkemia and Kelewan
It is known that the only races are humans, catboys/catgirls (still humans), humans twinks with long ears, huge humans, humans for scalies, playboy girls/boys and potatoes.
Come on, you can be a giraffe too

This is the same book where Jace loses a toe to frostbite. What Planeswalker has 9 toes is one of my favorite MTG trivia questions

"Regardless of the century, plane, or species, developing artificers never fail to invent the ornithopter."
IMO the key thing to say is that "He hasn't shown any unique resistance to it", rather than saying he's "weak" to it.
Cyclops is weak to red heads
Peter Parker is weak to student debt
..... and red heads
hftf is far from perfect bc Capcom decided to rush its production. I hope it gets back someday (delusional take)
Pet shop is too broken for the game to be perfect, but it's still pretty damn good
Kakyoin is stronger.
Yeah, but it takes more effort. Pet shop is bullshit at every skill level
But without my Tudors how will I find enough aristocrats?

Net runner had a long run as an lcg, and people still play the first star wars ccg
The Invasion? That's when they killed Gerard, half the Weatherlight crew, and a lot of nameless Dominarians. It seemed lame at the time but it had actual consequences.
And 7 of the 9 titans
Super Robot Wars gets regular releases and tends to get english releases these days too.
Yeah, and the SD Gundam Generation games have been getting localized too

Bill on King of the Hill said it best:
I want a Magic printing plate now.
They are a common insert in the sports card world. I'd love the cyan plate to my favorite commanders
To do a barrel roll press Z or R twice
Fireworks.
Fireworks were my favorite pop-punk band from the moment I hears Arrows. I wish I liked the new album more, only Goodnight Tomb and I want to start a religion with you have made it to my playlists
I'm really upset that no one has said Kitty and Piotr (Shadowcat and Colossus) or Medusa and Black Bolt.
I'd have agreed on kitty and colossus 10 years ago, but since the wedding have the 2 interacted?

In my middle school days we called that speed Magic so we could finish a game or 2 during lunch
Pug and Magnus from the RiftWar books. Pug was a candidate for being the new God of Magic, and Magnus is supposed to have even more potential
