1. I don't think Nami being sick would make her seem like a damsel in distress. Everybody can and most likely will get sick at some point in their lives. It could be Zoro, Usopp, or Vivi getting sick, but Zoro was already unconscious for a full episode last season, Usopp has the least fighting abilities and would definitely be seen as a liability by viewers if he was sick, and Vivi is already kind of a damsel in distress so her being sick would also make her seem like a liability.

  2. Considering how great Cord's voice lines are, I was looking forward to the female version of Cordelius's voice. I don't get the "plants don't talk" aspect since Cord is a mushroom and those also don't talk.

  3. Look at the new high-rarity brawlers! The last ones we've released have been a mythic (Melodie), an epic (L&L), a legendary (Kit), a mythic (Mico), another mythic (Charlie), and another mythic (Chuck) if I'm correct.

  4. Eh, epic is pretty much the lowest rarity these days. The last super rare was Gus almost two years ago, and before then was Jacky another two years before that; the only other super rares after launch are Carl, Tick, and 8-bit, and all were concurrently released almost a year before Jacky. Rosa is also the only rare who isn't from launch.

  5. The three weeks was for mourning Toriyama and Oda's health, not some big celebration.

  6. Forbes did an article about these procedures and found thousands of them in a study of insurance claims....these procedures are happening. And in way more frequency than the study of just insurance payouts, as medical confidentiality of a minor is especially strict. So we dont know the exact number. But its troubling to see people burying their head in the sand and spreading the false idea that it doesnt happen.

  7. It is troubling to see activists like this bury their heads and cover their ears to the truth. I told them of a specific example of a trans minor in high school getting a mastectomy, and told me "show the papers or STFU". But I don't have the papers because I wasn't close this person, and the only other way to prove I'm not making this up is to dox this person with a picture of his social media, which I'm obviously not doing.

  8. It's not incomplete you are just refusing an easily provable fact. Children have been given and are still being given gender reassignment surgery and drugs that are causing permanent damage.

  9. The person you are responding to is a troll who eon't listen to reason, like most activists. I told them of a specific example of a trans minor in high school getting a mastectomy, and told me "show the papers or STFU". But I don't have the papers because I wasn't close this person, and the only other way to prove I'm not making this up is to dox this person with a picture of his social media, which I'm obviously not doing.

  10. You should have put Shirahoshi and Otohime in a tier above the top called "nice to their own detriment".

  11. Even 5 episodes seems like a stretch. Marineford is pretty much one long fight, and those usually get trimmed the most when adapting to live action. I'd say 3-4 (one for announcing Ace's dad ending on Luffy arriving, one on Luffy freeing Ace but Ace dying, and one of Blackbeard killing Whitebeard and Luffy being carried away by Law).

  12. Ok what? I get your doubt about Skypiea needing 10 episodes, but Water 7 saga has more chapters than the East Blue and Alabasta sagas. How are you going to say that's not enough for a season?

  13. A lot of water 7/Enies Lobby is taken up by individual fights against 7 assassins and a very long train ride. As we saw with Arlong Park, the individual fights against Kurobi and Chew, which are multiple chapters in the manga, lasted barely over a minute each, and Arlong was defeated halfway through the episode. I also am 90% certain that Yokozuna, Baskerville, Sodom/Gomorrah, and Chimney/Gonbe are getting cut.

  14. If you are implying that they should cover from Jaya to Enies Lobby, that would require at least 14 episodes. That's one big season. This would have the Skypiea Saga be 6 episodes and the Water 7 Saga be 8 episodes. This would still be quite a fast-paced season considering that the Water 7 Saga has 39 more chapters than the East Blue (which was covered in 8 episodes).

  15. Skypeia and Water 7 are solidly linked through the Klaubaterman's appearance in the former and explanation in the latter, and the gold the Straw Hats earn in Skypeia that is important in Water 7. Also, Robin is practically a background character in Skypeia, but at the same time her backstory is linked to the events in Enies Lobby, so having both sagas in one season would remedy that issue. It would also likely save money to have Blackbeard in 2 episodes of one season instead of one episode in 2 seasons.

  16. Bad idea to end S3 on ringing the bell. Not only does that skip the awesome resolution of Skypeia where everybody is celebrating, I really don't think Skypeia can even carry a season, and needs to be packaged with at least some of Water 7. Alabasta is a much longer arc and I think most of us agree S2 is covering it in its entirety, alongside Loguetown, Little Garden, and Drum Island. If Live Action ever gets to Thriller Bark or Fish Man Island, I also think those can't carry their own season either and need to be paired up with other arcs.

  17. This is a deliberate action started on 4.4 and X needs to fix it

  18. Nothing in those tweets says that this annoying change is intentional instead of a bug. The official tweet only says they're banning bots.

  19. This interview makes me think we’ll actually get Karoo. If they weren’t gonna add him I don’t see why’d they purposely bring ‘em up in this sketch.

  20. I also found it interesting that they brought up the South Bird. That thing doesn't show up until Skypiea, and even then I assumed LA would skip the bird because the crew could simply find the knock up streams randomly.

  21. Wow, I actually kind of prefer these designs over their anime designs. Carol especially; her anime design always makes me think of that Gravity Falls quote of "Is it legal for a child to wear that much makeup?"

  22. I had been so caught up on the idea that Water 7 and Enies Lobby are practically the same arc that I didn't realize they could be split. We could honestly get the

  23. Honestly, I think your idea for season 3-4 is perfect aside from a full episode for post-Enies (which could be given to an extra episode for Sabaody).

  24. Hot damn you’re completely right. I didn’t watch the anime so idk what they did differently, but to add a bit to your point here:

  25. I personally think most of the sea train fights could be cut and S3 includes both the Water 7 saga and Skyipea, but assuming Long Ring isn't cut, your idea is fantastic.

  26. I can't seem to make any of those methods to work, for example here's an image I shared that is high res (4K) and I can't open in in another tab full size or anything

  27. I can not access old reddit, it gives me a security warning and doesn't let me load the page :(

  28. Old reddit works for me, but if it isn't for you, there's another method I use. A more complicated method is to copy the image (in this case

  29. We got Freyr last year and Gustav the year before. I think it's safe to say Fafnir is a lock for either the fallen banner or a mythic/emblem banner.

  30. I've always found her design to be curious as well. Why would Crocodile hire a literal child without devil fruit powers as one of his top agents? And why was she the title character of that cover story if all of Baroque works plays equal roles there?

  31. the seasons have been dribbled out one every 2 months or so, since 2020.

  32. Two months later, still no Fish Man Island yet. I wonder if they still will put in everything between Marineford and Egghead.

  33. I know right. First time I saw them in different outfits I was like this is new. I just think it helps keep it feeling more alive

  34. I especially like how pre-timeskip Nami doesn't really have a default outfit at all, unlike the others. You recognize her because of her hair, not her clothes. Same deal with Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons, who also has a different outfit in nearly every episode he's in.

  35. It’s not a recent regression, viewing images on the mobile website have never shown the correct, high resolution versions.

  36. While I hate the comically small image sizes too, this wasn't an issue until this February, a little over a month ago. I'm not sure where you got the idea that they have "never" shown the correct sizes when they clearly did until last month. I browse on mobile all the time, and had pretty big images show up on Reddit until recently.

  37. That is a curious situation that this affected you but not me 7 months ago. It must have had something to do with the "open in background" option. I had it set to "open in new tab" and it used to always open full size images (I’ve opened images that are 6 MB, 14 MB, 30 MB, even 50 MB on mobile) until last month. As you can see by the recent surge of comments on your post reporting the same problem, as well as the one 7 months ago saying their images were full size on mobile, I think this also could have somehow only affected some people, including you, before affecting everybody last month.

  38. This is incredible! There are definitely some males who would look really good in Dokkalfar/Ljosalfar (forgive my spelling) outfits, and I'd love it if IS did something like this. If Nils had this resplendent, I'd 100% get it.

  39. I lost track, have we had any males in fairy realm outfits?

  40. And even if we do have it as a second language, it's still more comfortable reading in our primary language. I can read spanish, but I'll always prefer reading in english because I don't have to spend brain power translating it in my head.

  41. I got Chester and enough credits for Meg from these starr drops. I finally have all brawlers!

  42. Yeah, the credits I got from this were insane. It sucks that it all got wasted to fame since I have all of the brawlers, but I'm grateful for the ludicrous amount of coins, xp doublers, and cosmetics this gave me.

  43. Is "Giant Nami" referring to this character or Shirahoshi? Seriously, she, Vivi, Rebecca, and Nami all have the exact same face, and having those three princesses all together at Reverie felt uncanny.

  44. He was and he wasn't. The credits say that a random fish man playing cards with Nami is Hachi, and this same fish man is shown a couple times to be one of Arlong's top men, but he only has one line and looks like a pufferfish instead of an octopus.
