Today i tackled the driver’s side valve cover and holy hell those lower bolts area PITA to get to. You have to go through the drivers side wheel well to get to them and even then the last one closest to the firewall was a challenge. Glad i got it done though. Original seal lasted 188k miles so i should be good for the next 150k miles lol

It really depends on the manufacturer sometimes. Toyota’s easy, most cases the first 5 digits designate a specific part. Example, 04465 is always front pads, while 04466 is always rear pads. Then in the last 5 digits, the first digit denotes the model, like Land Cruisers are a 6.
