1. Do you happen to have any Aftermarket underbody bracing/Under trays? As for the clunk i wouldn’t worry about it, going from lock to lock seems normal to me. Unless it drives differently ide drive it till it gets worse. I personally think its just normal play in the rack

  2. It’s on the other side so that if the coolant does overflow it doesn’t leak down onto the power steering connectors , a good design in my opinion

  3. I ended up Having problems with the cap not tightening all the way by design and i ended up switching to a Morrosso, much much better

  4. I don’t recommend them, they’re either too springy or too stiff

  5. Do you know anything in terms of accessibility? I do all my own work on my vehicles and I'm wondering if I can avoid the use of a lift considering I just sold my bendpack

  6. You should be able to access the Neutral Safety switch with ought a lift. ive had those symptoms, i recommend replacing it if you’re around 100k miles. Tools i strongly recommend is a 27mm Crows Foot and an extension on Ratchet. You might have to cut the old one, i think they are fished around a little tight from factory. After that you should idle like normal

  7. Ive gotten as low as 9mpg on track or less, in town i get around 110ish miles per tank (i almost always fill up at 1/4 tank left)

  8. I still have this issue but i learned to bypass it by using double clutch method, big difference.

  9. I do believe i had this issue and then i replaced the giant egr pump and my code went away. Thats my experience with that code

  10. “If you care about the environment, this is the car for you”

  11. My process for bleeding clutch is with 2 people. One person will control pedal the other will break screw open. crack bleeder open, 2nd person in car will press clutch all the way in with ought letting off, then person under car will close Bleeder. 2nd person will then pump pedal (with hand if needed) until pedal pressure is present again. Repeat until Fluid come out smoothly and cleanly. Be mindful of Fluid Reservoir, keep it full and top it off once completed. Obviously don’t let fluid get to low in reservoir, air in the lines is not good.

  12. They should do a black RX8 😍🙌🏼🖤 need a new lock screen

  13. Try a bit of photoshopping in an app, im sure you could change the car color 😎

  14. Yeah my rx-8 came with an eBay catless midpipe so I plan on just throwing that on

  15. That is always fun, i stopped taking pics like this because i think my 8 is obnoxious getting these flame pics

  16. Ive owned mine since 2018. No not a good daily, to me this is definitely a weekend/night cruise car. Its a great car, ill never sell mine. it requires a lot of attention and money. Ide get the one with the Least mileage on the engine. Never taken it to a Mazda dealer for compression check, took it to a rotary specialist when my compression took a poop. Its a rewarding car but when my engine was on its last legs it was not fun at all, long starts. Noticeably slower, its already slow as is on straights. On track its so much fun. Always a neck breaker too. Not alot of people seen these, and the ladies always freak about the rear doors. And the Fellas always ask if i did that to the rear doors myself. Your move friend. Ide say get a daily. Then get an Rx

  17. Normally around the bracket where the screws meet the car, also for me the spring seemed to widen its own mounting point (was a small green bushing it sits in wich caused squeaking when it went bad for me). Do you have side to side play? Is it noticeably in the pedal or do you have minor driving difficulties?

  18. I wouldn’t recommend BC racing or Teins personally. I work at a shop that is fortunate a enough to have a lot of Heavily modified to basic cheap Street cars and have gotten the opportunities to drive some Rx-8 with these Coil-overs. I feel like they ride very Rough on the road (Regardless of their little Clicks you get for dampening) and Somewhat unstable on track. The rebound hurts. One of the kits that i really love and dream of getting are MCS coilovers… those cost more then the car (about 4-5k, goes up with options). That being said its a bit too much money for me and ive had the car for a while and going to upgrade the track experiences a bit. Thus i have chosen Öhlins Road and track. Got a chance to drive on them as well and almost feel just as good. Of course these cost around 3k give or take but i think its worth the wait. Everyones needs are different but thats what ide suggest

  19. Thanks for the input. I'm super new to suspension stuff and the terminology but I can understand the gist. What main 3 or so things should I look out for when picking a set? (that being after budget and intended use are considered).

  20. Tires and suspension make a huge difference on a car, ifs what makes the car ride smooth, Rough, responsive, and or look good. Usually the goal is to have a little bit of all but in the end some of those things lack a bit more. If your going for looks there are plenty of options that lower the car but very few will have the comfort and function as oem, but it will look nice. Ide say things to look for are Comfort or Sporty. If your going to Track ide start looking at reputable Companies related to Performance driving and not street tuning related. If you want looks at a good price then you might have to sacrifice some comfort that Oem offers. My experience isn’t vast since im learning still too about other Suspension companies but ide Try shooting for some Öhlins. Drove them on other Rx8s and i prefer them over the other options (the middle ground).
