I live in Chicago. On Sunday I was in traffic and two bikes got behind me. One was a Gsxr and the other was an older R1. They both were spray painted black and the R1 had a screwdriver jammed in the ignition. The R1 had a driver and a passenger on the bike and they tried to get right up on me. I noticed this and I swerved in and out to pull away. The R1 low sided and that was that. I ride bikes that most trash bags would want to take. So far it hasnāt happened because Iām aware of my surroundings. Being aware of your surroundings is key no matter where you are in the world.
The ginormous parking lot next to the Wilson skate park is a good place to skate. Also Montrose Bird sanctuary has new blacktop so the road leading into it is another good spot. There is also a parking lot at Montrose Beach that is always empty(except on weekends or holidays)
The corner of N. Clark and Lasalle is where you will spot the curator extraordinaire. Stand on the corner and start walking towards the Farmers market on Clark. Look to your right after the parking lot(in the bushes). You will see a blue and white tent. Perhaps Iāll see you aroundš
