1. At least from my understanding is pretty much case by case basis

  2. It can be different for everyone. You will be looked better than your peers, but viewed as the idiot college specialist. You will do dumb and shitty details. Officer don’t have details like that but staff can dick you down. ALOT of meetings for officers. You tend to miss a lot of the political bs in units

  3. You might have had gotten it torn. It’s hard to know unless you get an MRI. I would recommend you talk to your doctor and try to get it looked at. They might have you do physical therapy before to make sure you don’t need surgery on it. Talking from experience from medical professionals that dick you around before getting proper treatment. I had to meniscus surgeries now but I’m doing a lot better now

  4. Is anyone having the same issue where they aren’t able to reenlist

  5. My wife and I just came back from a vacation on Maui. I've never been stationed there but I know I would go stir crazy if I had to live on a small island like that.

  6. I’m currently stationed at Ft. Richardson and I can tell you that the remote feeling of this place is a lot. Running in the cold and standing in formation when it’s in the negatives is not amazing. Cost of living is almost equivalent to that of Hawaii minus housing. You will feel just as remote if not more because it is so vast. And trust me, 4 hours of sunlight during peak winter will get to you. There’s a reason why Alaska has the highest rate of suicide in the army.

  7. The military offers a lot of benefits to families and such, but not much for the lower enlistrd personnel. There is a reason why soldiers end up marrying so young just to avoid the bs that comes with living at the B's. There needs to be something that has to change.

  8. Allegiant Givings program is remote and education based. We have both a Cyber and IT track, along with a couple other related tracks (link below). 9. Just applied a couple weeks ago to for their Cybersecurity course timeline. I just wasn’t sure how the program was since I wasn’t aware of others doing the program or much info online about it.

  10. I just applied and talked to one of the recruiters for the program, but the next cohort doesn’t fit my timeline :(

  11. Got a tattoo from Gian Karle about a year ago. It was an amazing experience and super down to earth human. Such a humble and cool dude. I was glad to be able to have a conversation with him during our session. Look forward to getting some tats from him in the near future.
