Honestly, I wish a persona game would have a character on the chubby side who's likable. Hanako is a POS almost on par with Kashiwagi. It wouldn't kill them to have a chubby fella who's just nice.
While he's not a named character, in the same game there's that chubby student in the first floor hallway who's always super concerned about taking care of his grandma, I like him!
If I may, I'd like to argue that my points are more than just male benevolence, as these are things that still happen even under women judges and observes, relying not only on a societal presumption of women being more harmless or innocent, but also of men being more dangerous or guilty. I'd also like to say that there are also plenty of women who perpetuate these things, not just men. When a men"s shelter is proposed to be built, it's not just men shouting that it's a waste of time, and when a woman is domestically violent towards her partner, it's not just men laughing at him for being hit by a girl. Though I do also appreciate your insight on the matter, I can't experience your view any more than you can experience mine, and we're gonna have to work together if anything for anyone is gonna get any better.
