1. I did Commerce and Business diploma, then transferred to SFU for bachelor. It’s the same study duration, but you get 2 degrees now!

  2. Did you notice a big difference in terms of education quality between SFU and Douglas?

  3. Yeah, difficulty of study is the same. It’s about the group projects you have to learn/do in SFU, and that prepares you for the professional life in the future!

  4. If you wanna use a semi auto .22 for small game, I’d recommend like a 10/22 or CZ 512 or something. Some guns are meant for plinking and not much more. The PPS-50 is probably better for blowing up reactive targets in a heap of garbage than hitting a grouse out of a tree. When it comes to hunting, you want 2 things in your rifle: reliability and accuracy. Unfortunately there’s very few reliable semi auto .22s for hunting in Canada because the last thing you want is a jam or misfire when you’re about to pull the trigger. A Savage bolt .22 is probably the best gun to use on a budget, especially if you’re new to hunting. That, with a decent rimfire scope, will be more affordable than most guns and will work pretty darn good. Same with larger game, Savage rifles can’t be beat on a budget.

  5. Looks funny. Don't think I have seen this variant. I swear thats a Thompson forward handguard haha. Love the stubby look.

  6. I’ve got one of these hand guards for one of my Auto 5s and they are so comfortable.

  7. As a Canadian, the one thing we did right is being able to get guns shipped to our houses. Our licenses are universal for the most part so you can have guns shipped to any address the horsie bois have on file

  8. Is it a hard test for those? Also seems cool but also seems like an expensive hobby. Went to a range once and it was fun but I feel like buying ammo would be expensive.

  9. My brother in Christ, you have no idea. I suffer financially regularly

  10. Could have been a door breach battering ram and not a weapon. Similar looking to a rocket launcher.

  11. Hey there! From my experience with a few single shots I recently finished up.

  12. Thank you for your answer. So assuming it would be possible and you would, for example, widen the chamber of the 16 caliber barrel so that a 12 caliber cartridge would fit and the wall diameter would still be in the safe range, but you would leave the diameter of the barrel at 16.8mm, what would happen?

  13. You would be better off buying a separate 12ga rather then fucking around and subsequently finding out

  14. You would have the tightest choke known to mankind and your gun would go boom and not in a sexy way. Presuming you didn’t change the bolt or extractor, it also wouldn’t chamber or extract properly. On a single shot break action, have fun but even then that’s a lot of rapid expansion and pressure in a super narrow barrel for the size.

  15. Bought this at auction and need help with proof marks and what this is. It’s a .75 cal wall gun and approximately 45” barrel. Any help would be appreciated

  16. Which comedy show did you go to? My friend keeps bailing and I've been tempted to go solo

  17. I went to Rick Bronson’s in New West, it’s the closest to me and they usually have decent shows for under $25

  18. Awesome! I didn't even know there was a New West one.

  19. Usually you comment on my topics. It's nice to see you, brother, but I didn't fully understand what you said.

  20. I think what he’s trying to say is it might be easier and cleaner to make 2 parallel holes with a drill and then using a cut wheel to join the 2 and make a clean oval

  21. Dude, I’m willing to bet you’re Canadian. You’re not getting any automatic weapons permit, it will be illegal, and even if you had an automatics license in Canada, you’d know that this is dumb, illegal, and dangerous.

  22. To the best of my knowledge, it’s as simple as re using the same parts, just switching the barrel. From my experience though, I’ve found I’ve had to swap my factory extractor with an upgraded one (volquartsen, Kidd, Dlask, etc) as the factory one didn’t extract properly. I don’t have any experience with Dlask barrels so it could be fine, just a heads up if you have extraction problems post-install.

  23. "Seguro" is the spanish word for "SAFE". Not a spanish manufacturer.

  24. But see, now you know it’s Spanish and not a Husqvarna so I think I get some points here

  25. I think what would be better is if we could break into the cop's bullet plant and put 3x as much powder in their 9mm casings that way whenever a cop goes to shoot someone it blows up in their face.

  26. Well powder is generally already packed into their cartridges and by stuffing more, you’d essentially be creating +P rounds which already exist and would potentially cause more damage to people. Not to mention, that’s not how ammunition is manufactured; it’s not a bunch of dudes in a factory hand loading ammo, it’s a highly mechanized and controlled process that’s extremely difficult to break or change

  27. Beekeeping is generally not considered cost saving with regards to supplying your own honey for your own mead.

  28. Not to mention, supporting your local beekeepers is a huge plus! My local apiary does a lot of work to keep the local bee population healthy and helps the community through the work they do! Buy locally and help your community/small business owners!

  29. been there many times … LOVE the place and the owners.. funny adorable couple, but never saw turkey sandwich on the board… maybe im blind

  30. I’m here right now, can confirm the turkey sandwich; it’s on the cold cut menu

  31. saw it last time and tried.. its called Bacon turkey, hence why i never saw it.. first word bacon …. it was pretty good but ill stick to their ham and cheese and tomato ham soup

  32. Yeah, I liked their Louisiana sandwich a bit more then the the turkey

  33. What gun for home protection would be a very bad idea? I had to think this through because it posed an interesting question: what is the provably WORST gun for home defense? A .22 single shot rifle is at least small and quick to point. A Barrett M82 is at least going to instantly stop whatever it hits. Even a good old fashioned musket is going to do good damage and won't hurt your ears. No, I wanted to know what the undisputable worst home defense gun in the world is; and I have found it.

  34. Find someone to remake the long iron sight rail instead. Convert to double stack mags, leave everything else as is. The old gray SL-8 fucks.

  35. I’ve got the long iron sight rail on mine, I’d love to trade it for a short iron rail

  36. Well I’m Canadian so mostly new hunting guns, a 5.56 Raven, maybe some limited edition imports that’ll be extremely hard to get in a couple weeks
