not sure if this is a hot take but the reason buu saga is my favorite is it feels like every character was at their true peak in terms of writing, Vegeta sacrificed himself and became significantly more mature, Goku had some amazing emotional moments and speeches that still give me chills to this day, Gohan stood up to Buu and found a way to surpass super saiyan on his own, hell even Satan made friends with Buu and changed for the better. Ik technically they aren’t peaked because of Super, but I would have honestly been satisfied if the story ended there. I love Super, but a lot of it seems so unnecessary and kinda unnatural. The first few arcs are kinda a drag and it just doesn’t feel as emotionally heavy as DBZ
