  2. i'm just gonna plug northeastern because pretty much everything you said makes me think it might be a good fit haha. it's in boston, known for its co-op program (where you work full time for 2 six-month periods) which kinda goes with your do philosophy. and they have a ton of combined majors, which might be a good option for you since they aren't as intense as double majors -- you could potentially do english/design combined major with chinese and japanese minors. they're very flexible with creating your own majors too
