Really I didn’t know any of that was going on. I get WW2 magazines real cheap at local book store. So never looked on EBay but they let them sell everything else metals gear whatever. The YouTube thing doesn’t surprise me at all they suck more and more every day. They censor everything it used to great. Someone needs to make a new YouTube without a new rule every day

Real talk in the city you break down all boxes..you don't want criminals to know what is inside the house. Guns are a huge score for them...risky but people are riskier than ever now. Plus only guns and golf clubs come in boxes like that..both valuable to crimals.

I mean yeah I’ve never thought about that. I usually save my boxes or break them down and put them in the recycling bin but didn’t really think that could make you a target. I’m very paranoid of break ins. I’d have a trip wire and shotgun trap if it was legal.

I also have clear plastic bags over the styrofoam and then the nylon stockings over that, that should be ok right? The rubber is not directly touching the plastic bag or the styrofoam

I’m not sure it’s the gas that the styrofoam produces that degrades the rubber and canvas. Could look it up see what it says maybe some tips online to keep it safe. I understand how you feel I want to take of my stuff too. I think the glass heads are a worthwhile investment it looks better too I can send you pics of my gas masks on them.

Oh it will be safe for now it takes months maybe years for it to do damage but I just don’t like the idea of it being able to harm my stuff especially if you pay a lot for it and since yours are in really good shape
