I don’t see many people complaining about tipping their full service servers. They complain when places where you order at the counter, pick up your own food, then bus your own table (like Panera) begin suggesting tips. It’s no different than McDonald’s and Chick-Fil-A, which don’t expect tips. Even worse, sometimes they suggest tips for takeouts, which I decline every time on principle.

No tipping for counter service,buffets or take out or fast food .

I'm Canadian and I have nothing against it, but the only way you find it here is on a fast food burger. Sodium citrate is great. But I could get a proper melt on any cheeseburger if I tried. I only object to a burger where it isn't melted properly, especially if you're paying that much money. Should this employee be cast out on an ice floe to be eaten by polar bears? Maybe. I'm not a judge.

Because every establishment uses Kraft cheese on the burgers.

And those are good restaurants where I live .We do go to the mom and pop restaurants a lot .I'm not a big fan of Mexican restaurants at all.Do you really think people go out to eat to eat healthy food ?lol .Yeah ,right .I live in the south .

That says it all. I go out and eat good, and healthy food. Not always, but the vast majority of the time. Those restaurants just serve reheated frozen food. You can do that at home.

I once got gas at a station where someone must have entered the price wrong and it only charged me $0.27/gal (for diesel!) I said nothing, and I don't believe that anyone reading this would have gone inside and said, "you didn't charge me enough, here's some extra."

Where I live you can't pay at the pump .You have to pay inside before you pump your gas and I would love to see then pull that .But we have a bunch of indie gas stations in my town .

Less wait, easier customization, exclusive options, points direct to my account without having to put my email in on the kiosk inside since it feels like pulling teeth to get somebody to attend the register and verbally communicate my order and get a physical receipt.

Seems pointless. Most servers receive at least 15% on average. Potentially pissing off customers for **maybe** an extra buck or two isn't really worth it. I've been to places in Miami that aim for the best of both worlds. They auto-tip 18% and then hand over a touch-screen with '2%', '4%', '6%' and 'Custom' options.

Some of these are dollar store brands, and wal-mart. Not worth putting out cause people could probably get them for the same (or better) price at the other stores
