1. And they aren't allowed to share what they read, why? Is there a set number of qualifications before someone is allowed to share something? Give me a break, take your rude comments elsewhere.

  2. Of course they are. But apparently I am not qualified to make a comment. . A person taking a class and reading a book is enough for you?

  3. To share a quote from a study? Yes, literally anyone who can read and write is qualified to do that.

  4. I hope you find what you are looking for. I have been clean and sober since 2000. I still have not figured it out. I no longer need to. For myself only AA was the only thing that saved a drunk and junkie like me. The whole β€œGod Thing” was a long process for me to get behind. However, over time, I have found a higher power that works for me, but must say that coming to believe was a multi-decade process for me. I have done the entire programme. Why? I had no idea what it meant to be, or stay clean and sober meant. A better life? Certainly one I never dreamed of. Improved mental health? This too has been an ongoing process, however, even when I struggle with my mental health disorders, it is still FAR better than when I was drunk and shooting heroin between parked cars. At nearly 64 years of age, I am in the last phase of classes to obtain a PhD. I am well aware there are alternatives to Alcoholics Anonymous, as a former substance abuse clinician, this was important to know. Look, if you figured out all of it out in 4 days, fabulous. For me, Alcoholics Anonymous has saved, changed, and drastically improved my life in many, many, in fact every way I could have imagined, and in many I had not. I wish you the very best of luck in your search.

  5. My congratulations upon your foster failure, Archie looks like a very happy lad, and probably NOT spoiled in any way!!

  6. They are my unemployed boyfriends. Do nothing but eat my food and lay around all day but they are sweet enough to make me fall for it year after year.

  7. I am afraid I would be an easy mark for them, then. They could get anything out of me they wanted, I’m afraid!

  8. I would gladly read such a publication. At 22 years, having this kind of wisdom would be very helpful for someone like myself who with the help of the programme, and stories like these, get to be an old timer.

  9. Honestly cannot tell who’s smile is broader, yours or your human’s, Kane!

  10. πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…πŸ‘…

  14. This is very true for myself. I too am feeling great distress. I have nearly continual sounds, visions and real-time experiences as if I am there. I do watch ongoing developments, however, what I see and feel is from the perspective of people on the ground, not from newscasters. I find myself drained, yet unable to lessen my distress, nor the heaviness I feel.
